Year 7 at the Hollywood North Film Awards!

It’s been a real honour to executive produce Howard Waldrop’s ‘The Ugly Chickens’ alongside producer George R.R. Martin, director Mark Raso, cinematographer Alan P**n, editor Geoff Ashenhurst and production designer Chareese McLaughlin.

We’ve completed work on two more short films, based on a couple of Howard’s best stories (he wrote so many, it was very hard to choose).

Producer and Hollywood North Film Awards founder Michael Flax will be speaking at Cinema Studies Student Union. He will be educating new filmmakers on the production process, from how to frame their pitch through planning their festival run.

Film Production and Film Festivals Workshop🎉🎞️

If you are interested in learning about the making of film pitches and film festivals, this workshop is for you🫵 On Monday February 26th, we are hosting a workshop all about the world of film festivals and film production! Michael Flax, producer and founder of Hollywood North Film Awards, will join us as a guest lecturer to teach us about the secrets behind successful film production and festival strategies!

This event will include practical exercises so don’t forget to bring your laptop or tablet.
