Mass Incarceration Is EVIL
Throughout the nation commercial entities are impacting the Justice system and making a profit off of people being placed in jail. This is ripe for violation of civil rights of Americans. America jails more of a % of its population than anywhere else on earth.
Now if the time to TELL about how wrong this is.
We need a law that makes prison solely done by a government entity to take the profit out of this!
Additionally, we need to make "Reform, Community Service, and Job Opportunities" to be pivotal offering for nonviolent offenders.
Overwhelmingly, people of color are being placed in jails for minor offenses and this is the New Jim Crow!

Street Of Dreams /Musicians for Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and creative support to high-risk teen mothers in urban San Diego. This event will also be the anticipated release of the Lisa Sanders Essential CD. With featured songs chosen from songs from eight previous CD releases from the award-winning Lisa Sanders.

The first annual Angel fest was a fantastic red carpet event held at The Irenic in San Diego. theirenic.com With Featured Artists The Lisa Sanders band debuting their world release video "The Epic" starring The Lisa Sanders Band and Rhythm Rose Turner. The show also featured an all-star San Diego music scene icon's Steve Poltz, Tim Flannary, BerkleyHart, Eve Selis, The Love Birds, Randi Driscol and more!
With silent auctions contributions from Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Crosby Stills and Nash as well as many wonderful San Diego Artist and vendors!
We raised over $3,000 from This first event!
