Tony Christie on his brand new album 'We Still Shine'! Recorded over the summer months in Nashville, Tennesse, this is his first album in 12 years.

Releasing on February 16th 2024, it is from the heart and sees Tony go back to his love of country music, something he has been planning to do with long-time producer and close friend Graeme Pleeth for many years. Michael “Mikey” Smith was born in 1954 in Kingston, Jamaica. He felt a natural affinity with poetry as a teenager in the late 1960s when he first began expressing his feelings using rhyming couplets.

A spell at the Jamaican School of Drama in the late 70s helped Smith develop his verbal communication skills. There, he cultivated a magnetic on-stage persona.

The long overdue reissue for Michael Smith’s seminal 1982 album ‘Mi Cyaan Believe It' is out now!

Aswad (the name is Arabic for “Black”) was formed in Ladbroke Grove in 1975. Their eclectic mix of styles melded elements of soul, jazz, and funk with hard roots reggae, lovers rock, and dub.

Arguably their early material is the finest roots reggae to emerge from the UK, highlighting the plight of immigrant Jamaicans in the unfamiliar and often hostile environment of 1970s London.

We have now re-pressed their stunning self-titled debut album on vinyl for the first time!
