Can a pins pillow be a jewel? It all depends. This one definitely is!!! It was a gift from a couple (a very close to my heart couple). They brought it from Budapest. Few decades ago. I still have, I still use ii. Any time I use it I think of that wonderful couple. They are not among us anymore, but their memories are!!!

Two precious jewels in one place!
This little dried rose is really old. When my high school class (of 20 students) and our French professor got together after 25 years of parting our ways to different universities, we met in Wrocław botanical garden (first). All of us received a rose. Mine moved with me a couple of times.

This jewel represents deep, very deep memories!!! It is a really interesting piece of art as well!
Pierrot (diminutive of Pierre) was a character in Italian commedia dell’arte (17th century). A sad clown, with big tears on his face.

Encounter and Obsession. Many, many years ago they could impress that couple.
Since then many things changed, since then we became much more aware what can alter our wellness!!!

This statue Puppydeus is showing on his page is something precious to me too. We received it from a dear friend more than 30 years ago. It moves with us when we move… to different continents, countries, cities.

I just found out that my humans loved me long long time before I was even born. Do you see what I see? Yes, we have this little statue of a dog like me (maybe my great great grandfather) on memories shelf. It’s almost as cute as I am!!! Love my humans, and I know they love me back!!! Somehow I’m discovering my ancestry!

Information and understanding of the whole idea is like a jewel!!
It is so beautiful, and reminds of Italian scientific series by Piero Angela titled: “La Macchina Meravigliosa”, which explored the human body.

“When a baby suckles at its mother's breast, a vacuum is created. How times change!
When I was I first grade having a fountain pen like this was a pupils’ dream. First we were learning to write with a simple pen and ink from the inkwell. Obviously all first graders notebooks included cotton tissue sheet. Our hands were spotted anyway!
Guess what, I’m still writing with a pen like my first one. And I love it!!! They always have been made in China. We know that they are calligraphy masters.

Once upon a time in my hometown (Wrocław) there was a store with all kinds of art glass designed by glass artist Zbigniew Horbowy.
Many colors many shapes, all beautiful. It was a tough decision which to pick. So many of us would choose a color and once in awhile would add new shapes. And new shapes were constantly appearing so we would look for them! This picture shows just a little sample of my Horbowy collection. I picked white (for me at that time - like 40 years ago) because it would go with any decor.

The macramé owl I already shared with you.
Yes and the other ones are little sprouts one can see on the green sprouting trays. They bring great nutrition! Growing your own food brings a great sense of fulfilment!! It makes me want to grow more than just this. Being a girl from a big city, that saw farms from time to time, I’m growing older into more natural ways of living!

This is a very interesting book. Obviously there is a story behind it.
I heard about this author and first bought one of his scientific books. Then I saw others and bought them many. I didn’t start reading them all at once.
One day a friend mentioned something about benefits of what he called with a name used by Americans: shilajit. I looked online what he was talking about to figure it out he was talking about same substance that one of my books was dedicated to: mumio. Yes I already study the book very well and have my mumio/shilajit at home!!! And yes, we use it!!!

That’s funny… when Facebook asks what’s on your mind…
And… actually that’s a good, very good question!
The ☕️ on this picture is gone after few years. Few years ago we had a visitor, and for the ocasión I got ourselves and our guest (who naturally took memory home) the bicycle cups.
Ours one by one are gone. Jewel is gone. Time to replace it… actually one replacement is ready for tomorrow morning cappuccino. I live my cappuccino in the morning!!!

Sometimes I can doubt if it is more jewel o more treasure. This precious card!!! 💗❤️💗… is the very last card I received from my mom. Few years before her passing, when She was still able to choose and write. I loved it so much that I framed it.
The simple message on the front: “For You”.

Meet tío Pepe. I got it like 20 (o more) years ago. For size comparison he is “standing” close to a pen. He makes me smile. Such a little thing doesn’t get lost, even with moving (twice). Oh tío Pepe likes to be in our place energy ir he doesn’t have any better place to go? 😉😮🤫

Long ago I received this little big note from a friend. There is a very personal note attached to it. So true!

It’s all about gratitude!
Yes, I’m so grateful for this little-big yacht!!!
It is a gift from a wonderful friend.
It’s a souvenir from my country of origin, from our sea. The yacht has my country licensing symbols.
I love amber, it has amber beads in it.
On top of all above it brings gratitude for so common in most of civilized word refrigerator. The yacht’s magnet keep it on the refrigerator. Yes, I remember time when refrigerators became more and more popular in average households. Before, if we had butter or cheese at home we needed to keep it n the water to maintain it fresh, or keep it in the basement (where it was cooler).
Memories are jewels too, not everybody is given opportunity to remember or share their memories.
Then it reminded me of a book by Russian author/poet Valentin Kataev “The White Sail Gleams”.
