Over The Hump Studio
Let’s make some tunes!
Music is my thing. I’ve been doing it since I was a wee lad. My experience with recording started with an old cassette player/recorder my parents had when I was a child. I’d record nonsense vocals into the thing in my garage and I’d use it to make mix tapes off the radio. Then I upgraded to a proper boom box that still chills on my shelf in the studio:
The usual path through public school is to do all the math, science, and language courses to get into post secondary education. That wasn’t for me! I finished my high school with a 4 credit co-op at a recording studio in Scarborough. I then headed to the International Academy of Design and Technology starting summer 2004 and left with a Sound Technology Diploma. I gave it my all, recording bands and artists from all over the place in my parents basement, which I converted into a project studio:
