She’s a chocolatier now! 🍫
We bought Less Junk, More Journey's Airstream! We're traveling around the US and living on the road
She’s a chocolatier now! 🍫
Kindergarten, First & Second Grade! ✏️
Three little birds 🐦🐤🐧
Not sure which ones cuter 🐐 👧🏼
Not for the faint of heart! If you’re afraid of heights, avoid the at all costs. Maple & I loved it!! But the rest of the family opted out 🤷🏼♀️
Up in the redwoods, literally! has a bridge way, way up in the trees! Right where we belong. 🤗
It’s called and it’s absolutely worth visiting! 🌲🌲🌲
* Oldie but goodie * 🚢
So many museums, so little time!
Perfect Oregon coast beach day!
First swimming ribbon! Heat Winner🔥🥇
This girl started swim team this year (a month ago) BEFORE SHE NEW HOW TO SWIM ACROSS A POOL 🏊🏻♀️
Another one in glasses! 🤓 Linden’s are only for reading though 📚 💙
First swim meet! It’s pretty crowded and overwhelming and Maple hasn’t quite grasped the concept of freestyle yet (which she’s swimming in first). Wish us luck!!!🤞🏼 🏊🏻♀️
Pho is one of our favorite foods to go out and eat as a family. Not only is it delicious and healthy, it’s fun to eat too! (Extra looong noodles) 🍜
Funniest Pho restaurant name we’ve seen? Probably Pho Shizzel. Good one Seattle!🥇
Seen any other good ones?
Do your kids love getting their faces painted as much as mine do? What a special experience and we learned so much too!
We stumbled upon a science fiction convention and had a blast meeting new friends!
City life 🌁
I caught a leprechaun! 🍀
Wish I could get that comfortable on a plane!
Proud to be raising adventurous eaters! 🦀
That’s Mount Diablo — covered in snow! ❄️
One of my favorite buildings. Anyone know where this is?
If you go to DC, you gotta check out the spy museum!! 🕵️♀️
It was so well done and so much fun! The kids *kinda* liked it too . . . but really it’s better for kids 10 and older I would say. Even just the concept of a spy was really confusing for the girls. And even a little scary for Olive. We’ll have to bring them back when they’re older…
They still enjoyed it though!
Linden was obsessed with the story of Mata Hari and watched the documentary short three times!
I would love to go back with just Michael on a date day so we could take our time and experience it at an adult pace. There was just SO much to see, you could be there all day for a couple days.
Since most of the museums in DC are free (this one is not), I think it might be tempting for families to skip it. But I say GO! It’s a blast.
I can’t believe how cold in Florida it’s gonna get! (I chose this photo cuz it looks like a frozen wave) 🌊
Stay warm everybody!!
What are you doing to prepare or get through it, if anything?
Linden made a new friend and she doesn’t want to leave him. Think we can fit a dog along with us in our travels? Haha I don’t! Too bad, though, because she says he’s her new best friend. 🦮
We ❤️ the Florida 🔑🔑🔑 !!
This photo was taken last spring, and we’re already talking about going back there again this winter too.
Christmas in the Keys has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?
We spent the day with some sweet rescue horses at DreamCatcher Horse Rescue. The girls all got to groom and ride ponies, and then just kinda hang out and pet horses for a while. Plus they got to learn all about the concept of horse rescue, and the teamwork it takes for an organization to do it successfully. Roadschool for the win! ✅
Can I please press pause and just keep Olive little and silly forever? 🤗
We saw an alligator swim down past a bunch of kayakers at Silver Springs!! 🐊
I’m confused about springs and alligators. I mean, people SWIM in springs in Florida… and apparently alligators just swim around as well? Is this really the case or am I missing something? 🫣
Boat hair don’t care 🤷🏼♀️ 🛥️
PS: there really should be a manatee emoji, dontcha think?
Never a dull moment!
We stayed in this incredible hotel for a night, The Equestrian, in Ocala FL.
We were just settling into our room when emergency alarms went off, and everybody had to evacuate. (A man ran down the hall yelling “this is not a test!”)
So we went down the stairs, to be safe, and hung out in the parking lot for a couple hours.
We had no idea what was really going on and didn’t find out until they let us back in. None of the other guests knew either. Some even got in their cars and left to go get dinner because they were tired of waiting around with no information or updates.
We ended up in the minivan watching PBS kids.
Finally someone came out and told us all we could go back in.
Turns out there was a small electrical fire in the men’s bathroom of the lobby. The firefighters put it out pretty easily, but all that time waiting was because it took a long time for the hotel staff to clean up and air out the smoke.
Fulltime travel always seems to keep us on our toes, that’s for sure!
Also, this is a panoramic photo. I think the stripes happened because of the strobing emergency lights. Pretty cool, huh?
This toy store is no joke! Felt like we were in the movie “Big”.
The girls begged to go in every couple of hours or so. Let’s just say the sales people saw a LOT of us. Not sure if they’ll miss us though. 😂
Yes, I let them each get a small toy. Linden got a 🦄, maple got a 🚜, and olive got a 🐎.

Anyone ever been to Nocatee, FL? It really is like no neighborhood I’ve ever seen before…
Totally family oriented, tight-knit community. New and bustling. Amenities galore.
You can run all your errands in a golf cart too!
This one’s in denial that Halloween is over… 👸
I don’t think Maple’s ever loved anything as much as she loves this wig!
Cotton! 🧺
Diving into horse world today 🐎
Of course we stopped at the National Air and Space Museum on our way out of DC!
Each girl picked out a model plane from the gift shop and then we took them to find the ACTUAL planes in the hangar!
These souvenirs will be extra cherished I’m sure ✈️
🚀Countdown to Artemis launch! Hopefully 3rd time’s the charm for us! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
When your surroundings are constantly changing, as they do in full-time rv life, you might find comfort in the things that stay the same no matter where you are — like Cracker Barrel!
Cracker Barrel has become our home away from home. There are just so many of them, and they are very consistent! You always know what you’re gonna get, which is NOT the case for most things in the full-time rv lifestyle. 😆
Plus you can stay the night in their parking lot which is a great perk for RVers!
And the biscuits ain’t bad either! 😋
What’s your family’s favorite pit stop?
Like my necklace? 🐍
Mama’s favorite outing can also be educational!
“Alright guys, create a look for $40.”
(Each item is worth $10 for the purposes of this lesson)
And voila! Now they’ve mastered Counting by Tens ✅
Next time: each item will be worth $5 and they can create a $25 look. And so on…
Meanwhile, Mama can shop! 👛

⚠️ NEW VIDEO live on YouTube! 🎥(Link in comments) We spent two weeks in the Chicago area visiting family and checking out some sights. We went to the Bean at Millennium Park and explored the playgrounds at Maggie Daley Park amidst the skyscrapers. At this point (in the video), we’re almost a month into fulltime RV living and we’ve established some fun routines, like Trash Walk. We’re getting into a groove. But after staying stationary for the longest time in one place so far, I get a little antsy and experience a 🤬moment where I question our new normal. What can I say, some days are harder than others... 🤷🏼♀️ BTW everyone should experience a rainstorm in an Airstream at least once.
Chattanooga was one of the most exciting destinations of our journey! 🚌 (LINK to full episode in comments) 🎬 In this episode we dig into the hands-on activities we discovered including a rock climbing gym the size of a whole city block, the longest pedestrian bridge we’ve ever seen, and one of the most dynamic children’s museums we’ve been to. 🌉 🧗🏼🧩Oh! ...and the Chattanooga Choo Choo train hotel. 🚂
Chattanoooga, Tennessee is really spooky! Thunder stroms, red ants, evil hot dogs, a fairytale village come-to-life under black lights... 👻👹☠️ LINK to full video in comments.
Here’s a teaser for our latest YouTube video! 🎬LINK to full video in comments. We spent a week in Paducah, Kentucky and went to the Quilt Museum, the Superman Museum, and watched as a team of firefighters opened up the floodgates down by the river. Also, Maple fell into a lake. 🤦🏼♀️ But don’t worry, someone saved her! 🧜🏻♂️
⚠️This video is not for everyone. ⚠️It contains real-time footage of us going up into the St. Louis Gateway Arch (the tallest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere) with 3 babies and 3 cameras. 🤣 LINK to full video in first comment.
Episode 5 of our road trip series is now up on YouTube! St. Louis - the best kept secret in the US! 🇺🇸 LINK to FULL VIDEO in comments! ⬇️🎬⬇️
This is a teaser for our new VIDEO up on YouTube (LINK in comments) and it’s the first episode of our travel series! 🎬 I tell the story of our family getting ready for a long road trip and trying to cherish all the little things we love at home before it’s time to leave it all behind.
