The WITT Halloween highlight is Matt Master’s Halloween Spooktacular from 4pm to midnight. It is the perfect musical soundtrack while you are handing out treats to the kids. John Rabold fills in for Joel today at 5pm with a remembrance of the Paramount Music Palace. The weekend includes a concert of the mighty Wurlitzer in the Hilbert Circle Theater Sunday at 2pm, with some of the organists and music played at the PMP. Joel returns from his hideaway anniversary next week with all the details.

Joel is away this week in a secret hideout celebrating two decades of married bliss. He will tell you about it next week.

This week, John Rabold hosts Michael Fellenzer, former manager of the Paramount Music Palace, which for 20 years was home to one of America's largest and best maintained theater organs, that provided body thumping music from a keyboard that controlled not only organ pipes, but xylophone, marimba, kick drums, chimes, picolo, and other instruments, while you stuffed yourself with pizza, salad, and ice cream.

Some of the country's best pipe organ musicians came to Indy, live here and play that mighty Wurlitzer. Join John and Michael in Joel's time slot of 9am to 11 to reminisce with the music of those musicians making that Wurlitzer come to life. And remember, what you hear today will be repeated Friday between 5pm and 7.

The program presents details of a special Sunday concert at the Hilbert Theater on the Circle that will feature its organ playing the music you might have heard at the Paramount.

Joel returns next week at his usual time, exhausted we're sure, but ready with another show of theme music to enjoy!
