FuROCKalypse Radio (FuROCK)
Years ago, owner Emmett Hipp (Shiloh from herein), wanted to get into radio. After working on small shows here and there as a radio host for various small internet based station, he started to move towards creating his own brand. Thus, the idea of FuROCKalypse was born. Initially, this started as a “club” of folks who were going against the norm of music within their demographic. This norm was the mass produced dial-up sounds produced by many other DJs in the online chat program “SecondLife.” Most of the different places available for people to listen to live broadcasts of music were playing EDM consistently throughout the day. This lead Shiloh to strive to bring the best in rock music to people who were getting tired of the same old song and dance, as it were. Considering Shiloh was already unique in the market he was hitting, he was successful for a while. This lead to many different ventures, including running a show for a short time on a FM station based out of Oklahoma. Those days are long gone from now, but the dream remains the same. Bringing people together through the sounds of real music that we can all bang our heads to! With a team of like minded individuals that has slowly grown over time, Shiloh has proceeded towards gaining traction in the realm of Internet Radio broadcasting. And thus, F.U. ROCK Radio was started. F.U. ROCK Radio plays the best in Rock, Metal and Punk with a little bit of “extra” thrown into the mix. So, the last thing left to do is: Tune it In, Turn it Up, Bang Your Head
