Mafioso Radio Established 1988

It then began it's Pirate Broadcasts on Shortwave 2kHz AM, 27zHz AM/FM/SSB In a Backyard Shed in Kingsgrove, interviewing Australian artists. QSL cards from New Zealand, Europe, and The United States were received from those transmissions. Our Home brew transmitter at the time was 100 watts on a longwire for the 2kHz band. laying pre-recorded Radio Shows as we drove around Sydney. Around 1994, Mafioso Radio became a household name when it landed a graveyard shift Friday Nights at 88.9FM Radio Skid Row In Marrickville.. Early 2000, Mafioso Radio was the first 24/7 stream dedicated to Oz Hip Hop.
