Hello everyone from The Ms. Computer Lady Show--WMCL. This memory is from July of 2014. This was when the Save Our Youth Musical Showcase came to my hometown of Toledo, OH. This was additionally when I was able to FINALLY do my first hometown live podcast.

All who were in attendance were suprised that they were being streamed lived, when live streaming was pretty new, and much to their delight fun for all. The reason for the secreacy was that the organizers want to give the indie artists the worldwide exposure they needed. The organizer could've honestly gotten someone else. The honor of being the surpise guest podcaster was even an uplift to the host.

Unexpected obstacles almost cancelled the show, but perseverance paid off when during the showcase the MC from out of state finally realized what was going on. He was in the middle introducing the next act, and the next thing that came of out of his mouth was, "...Hey wait a minute! Hey guys were on TV..." Two of the indie artists ran to where I was, with one of them exclaimed with delight, "Turn up!" What a memory, and yes it was turned up from that point on out.

Had the chance to see her twice in person. I loved the richness of her voice. Not the kind of news you would like to find out about; yet, her voice will greatly be missed. Prayers for Angela Bofill's family and the entertainment world for comfort, strength, and healing. Albums were spot on when you saw album covers like this.
