The wait is almost over for Tim Burton’s long-long-long-awaited sequel, and the official poster today reveals that the upcoming film is titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice haunts theaters on September 6, 2024, and the cast features Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, and Monica Bellucci.

We expect the first trailer is coming very soon. Stay tuned.

No word yet on plot details, but it’s known that Jenna Ortega will be playing the daughter of Lydia Deetz, the character Winona Ryder is of course returning to play.

The fanbase for Karyn Kusama‘s 2009 horror movie Jennifer’s Body has grown a whole lot in recent years, with many reevaluating the film and realizing it’s got more going for it than it was given credit for back when it first came out. 15 years later, it’s being viewed as a feminist revenge movie that was ahead of its time.

Jennifer’s Body writer Diablo Cody is back on the horror scene with the brand new movie Lisa Frankenstein – directed by Zelda Williams and releasing in theaters on February 9 – and Cody paid a visit to Bloody Disgusting’s Boo Crew Podcast () this week to chat about Jennifer’s Body.

If given the opportunity, would Diablo Cody return to the movie’s universe for either a sequel or a television series?

“YES! I wanna do a sequel,” Cody excitedly admits. “I am not done with Jennifer’s Body. I just need to find… I need to partner with people who believe it in as much as I do and that hasn’t really happened yet.

“I need someone to believe in it who has a billion dollars.”

🌲The Christmas Ghosts🎄a new illustration, prints are in my shop! I absolutely love this one, I’ve never done a holiday ghost illustration before, and it was really fun! I imagine she heard some noises in the middle of the night, so she walked downstairs in her nightgown and slippers, to find 4 friendly ghosts had decorated the tree for her ♥️ I’ve been really loving the natural Christmas feeling, I really want to make my own dried oranges this year, but I’m not sure if my tiny apartment in Florida can handle the oven being on for three hours without overheating, so I thought adding them to this illustration would be a good way for me to decorate with them! I hope you like this as much as I do! ♥️

One of next year’s most hotly anticipated horror movies is the Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman) remake of Nosferatu, which Focus Features hasn’t yet dated for release. Nevertheless, today brings a first look image courtesy of Empire Magazine!

Eggers tells Empire in their 2024 Preview, “It’s a scary film. It’s a horror movie. It’s a Gothic horror movie. And I do think that there hasn’t been an old-school Gothic movie that’s actually scary in a while. And I think that the majority of audiences will find this one to be the case.”

The above image gives us a first look at Lily-Rose Depp’s character Ellen, while also teasing the iconic claws of Nosferatu. Playing Count Orlok in the new movie? Bill Skarsgård!
