It was amazing to finally have all 6 of our lovely departments in one room enjoying food, games, and fun prizes!

We hope to make so many more memories with all of our members this year and look forward to what next semester brings to our channel 📸

Last Spring UCTV hosted an event with Oscar-award winning actors Carolina Gaitan and Mauricio Castillo here at UConn with WHUS.

The talk not only focused on their roles in the hit movie Encanto, but the barriers they faced pursuing a role in the entertainment industry as Latinx people. As a part of our commitment to be a diverse organization where everyone has a voice, we are proud to provide spaces for these conversations and to uplift marginalized stories.

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to an end, we want to once again thank and for sharing their valuable experiences and recognizing their success in the entertainment industry!
