The Honourable Commissioner of Waste Management and Resources Innovation, Hon. Shonzen James Benard, graced the occasion of a candle night held on the 21st day of September 2023. The event was organised by the Taraba State Entertainment Industry to pay tribute to the late Aloba Ilerioluwa Olamide, famously known as MohBad Imole, a fellow entertainer who unfortunately lost his life recently.

Hon. Shonzen James Benard, who himself had a background in the entertainment industry before his emergence as a commissioner, attended the candle night to express his deepest condolences and solidarity with the grieving community of entertainers.

During his heartfelt visit, the commissioner took the opportunity to address the young and up-and-coming entertainers. He counselled them on the intricacies of navigating the entertainment world successfully. He emphasized the importance of diligence and urged them not to rush into signing contracts with brands or record labels without a clear understanding of the terms involved.

Furthermore, Hon. Shonzen James Benard advised the budding talents not to succumb to the allure of shortcuts to fame but rather to focus on honing their craft and building their careers steadily. His words of wisdom served as a beacon of hope and guidance for the emerging generation of entertainers in Taraba State.

The Honourable Commissioner's presence at the candle night not only demonstrated his support for the local entertainment industry but also showcased his commitment to the welfare and development of Taraba's youth.
