What is coming in 2025?
Anyone who subscribed to the illusion that would somehow "bring peace" or "put pressure on Israel" is deluding themselves. If anything, the one sided policy of support for anything / everything that Israel does will accelerate and be put on steroids. 3 main indications that give insight to this:
1. Trump took money from Miriam Adelson, (widow of Sheldon Adelson). Adelson is the single largest donor of the Republican party as well as to Trump. More here:
"Adelson’s ties to Israel run deep. She was born in Tel Aviv during the British Mandate and speaks fluent Hebrew. She also served as an officer in the Israeli military. Though her business empire is based in the United States, she reportedly spends much of her time nowadays in Israel, where is known as the owner of the country’s largest newspaper, Israel Hayom.
Her writing in the newspaper since the attacks of October 7, 2023, makes clear that she’s been swept up in the political and social fervor gripping the country as it mourns the dead and seeks retribution. She said those who don’t support Israel in its campaign against Hamas are “dead to us.”

2. Trump's immediate pick for UN, Elise Stefanik, shows his absolute complete contempt for the institution. Her profile got elevated due to her public questioning of University presidents for not cracking down more violently on college student protests last winter:
"New York Representative Elise Stefanik gained national attention in December 2023 during a House hearing on campus antisemitism. At the hearing, she questioned the presidents of three prominent U.S. universities, asking if "calling for the genocide of Jews would violate their institutions' policies on bullying and harassment."
Nearly a year later, two of those university leaders, Liz Magill of the University of Pennsylvania and Claudine Gay of Harvard, resigned. Meanwhile, Stefanik is set to become the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations under President-elect Donald Trump."

3. This is further compounded by the fact that other picks for Trump's cabinet will include hard right, pro-Israeli people, especially those pushing for further deepening of :
*Avi Berkowitz, who worked with Kushner on the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan and on the Abraham Accords, could also make a comeback and be part of Trump's Middle East team.
*David Friedman, who served as the U.S. ambassador to Israel during Trump's first administration, could go back for another term in this post.
*Trump's former envoy Jason Greenblatt and Friedman's chief of staff Aryeh Lightstone might also return to government to work on the Middle East.

Bottom Line: there is NO solution for Muslims in electoral politics in the US, both parties are bought and paid for by a capitalist ruling class which has contempt for its own working class citizens and views Muslims/Islam as beneath animals.
