This Coalmine is over 100 years old and is in a very bad condition, stairs are missing, windows are broken and the rusty plates we are walking on could collapse at any moment. At first we explored one of the shafts, they are the vital infrastructure of a mine for the transport of coal, people an material. It is incredible to see all the natural decay and there are no graffitis which makes it even better! Then we made our way inside the former wash house, here the coal is treated to make it marketable. In 2017 a young Explorer fell from a height of 13m while exploring that part of the factory.

Today's Video is about an abandoned Powerplant somewhere In Belgium. This Industrial site was originally build in 1921 and was once one of the largest coal burning factorys in the country. Today the site is being demolished and security is patrolling from time to time. Once we were inside, we realized that all the stairs got cut off, so we had to find a spot where we could climb up. In the first hall a 2 very old generators and in the second one is a big red turbine. Unfortunately this place is in a very bad condition, but I managed to find photos that show how this place looked several years ago. After exploring the powerplant we made our way to the cooling tower at the other side of the river. It was was pretty sketchy to get inside but we got highly rewarded. The architecture is just amazing and I made some of my best Drone shots this year.

Some months ago I explored an abandoned Steelfactory. This massive Industrial site operated for over a century before running into trouble in the early 2000's. The facility had become outdated and had to be shut down. The former turbine hall and the controlroom are definitely the highlight of this place. In total, there are 5 different turbines, the biggest one is called Escher Wyss and could produce up to 75 Megawatts. Right next to the turbine hall is the boilerhouse where high pressured steam was produced. This one used a combination of natural gas and coke gas, a side product of coal production. After explroring the site for while, we got caught by a Security Guard. Click on the link to watch the Video!

This massive Powerplant fell victim to the steel crisis. Back then this powerplant belonged to a big steelworks that got demolished several years ago. The blast furnace was blown up in 2017 and the powerplant will be demolished very soon. The factory is contaminated with asbestos and secured with alarms and security. Unfortunately all the turbines are already gone, but the rest of this place is in a prestine condition. The control rooms look like the workers are just taking a break and could come back at any moment. Video about this place👇🏼

In this Episode, we explore a big abandoned office building somewhere in France. This Complex was build in 1892 and is abandoned since the 1980's. The famous Wendel family owned this masterpiece which is more and more falling apart. The architecture of this place is just stunning and you can see that nature takes back what belongs to her. We even found some documents dating back to 1942 and a very cool and old typewriter. I really hope that the location will be renovated very soon but it seems nobody wants to buy this property. This day was full of surprises, we decided to explore an abandoned Sinterplant that got abandond in 2018. First we started to explore the former offices filled with old documents and plans. Then we headed to the factory where we met another explorer who told us that security is on the site. 5 minutes after our talk we could hear a car driving around, so we made a run and climbed over a fence to get into the factory. The security car tried to find us but gave up after 30 minutes. Then, we explored the controlroom but this one was not that special, I prefer old an decaying ones. Shortly after, we came across some copperthieves who told us that they were explorers too, but later we could see why they were really on the site. I hope you enjoy this Video!

First we started to explore the former offices filled with old documents and plans. This small fairytale castle is located somewhere in France. It has been abandoned in 2019 and will be renovated very soon and an investor plans to build a residential area on the site. That would totally destroy the beautiful sight of this castle. I couldn't find more informations about this place but I hope you enjoy the Video 🙂

This place is called Maison Kirsch and is located somewhere in Luxembourg. The former residents were high earners and had a massive house and a barn that were built in the 1870s. The residents made their own liquor and stored a lot of fruits and vegetables in glasses. I also found photos of the couple who lived there and their bedroom is still in an amazing condition, this place is truly a time capsule. I hope you enjoy the Video :)
