According to rumors circulating, popular Nigerian international footballer Kayode Olarenwaju could allegedly lose almost everything he worked his entire career for after a shocking revelation suggests he may not be the actual father of the 3 children he thought he had during his marriage.

The former Manchester City forward allegedly claims his wife, Dora Ezinne Kayode, defrauded him, lied about her age (7 years older than him), and committed adultery with a well-known pastor. The whereabouts of the 3 children are currently unknown. Kayode admitted to attempting su***de and further stated that his wife conspired to take over his properties worth billions of naira and stole 2 Mercedes SUV cars.

For context, Dora Ezinne Kayode is a lawyer and also his agent, managing all his financial dealings and contracts. As a result of these incidents, Kayode has been a free agent since March 2024.

FG bans money ritual, ritual killing, and smoking scenes in movies, musical videos and skits.

Shaibu Husseini, the Executive Director/CEO of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), announced that the Federal Government has banned the portrayal of money rituals and the glamorization of vices in Nigerian films. Husseini made this statement at a National Stakeholders Engagement on Smoke-Free Nollywood in Enugu on Wednesday, May 22.

He emphasized the urgent need for bold actions from parents, guardians, and stakeholders to address the industry's challenges. Husseini mentioned that his predecessor had discussed with the former Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, the necessity of regulations to reduce smoking in Nigerian movies. This discussion expanded to include prohibiting money rituals and other crimes to further clean up the film industry.

Husseini was pleased to announce that the current Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, has approved these regulations under section 65 of the NFVCB Act 2004. The new rules, titled "Prohibition of Money Ritual, Ritual Killing, To***co, To***co Products, Ni****ne Product Promotion and Glamorisation Display in Movies, Musical Videos and Skits" Regulations 2024, have been approved and sent to the Federal Ministry of Justice for gazetting.

Husseini highlighted the harmful effects of glamorizing smoking in films, particularly on teens and young adults, who make up the largest segment of Nigerian movie viewers. The NFVCB plans to launch detailed educational programs in secondary schools, tertiary institutions, local communities, faith groups, and other institutions to raise awareness about these issues.
