This paved compass surrounding the atlas of the earth with Portuguese exploration voyages depicting the Age of Discovery at the foot of the Monument to Portuguese Seafarers was the most significant thing I saw on our Mediterranean Cruise trip.
The compass was a gift to Portugal from the South African Government in honour of the Portuguese Seafarers who helped discover the world.

Fancourt again, this time to see a tribute to Billy Joel by the amazing piano wizard, Alexander, all the way from Holland, with South African drummer and bassist. These guys only met three days ago but their repertoire, timing and togetherness was impeccable. Alexander's nimble fingers were a high-speed blur and the man's voice is exceptional. True musical magic! Thanks Mike
