Today our multiple award-winning, tense Drama PORTRAIT has officially premiered with Klipist !

We wanted to launch the film on International Women's Day to honour the models who shared their stories, which the film is based on.

A huge thank you to our team that made the film possible in the first place.

The film was made entirely independently for a small amount of money, with every contributor being worth their weight in gold on this project.

A huge thank you to Genera Films as well, for the grant that enabled the film's successful festival run!

We're glad the project has made a lasting impression on a lot of people and are grateful to Klipist for enabling us to share the film further, despite the difficult subject matter.

The film is meant to cause discussion, so do let us know what you think or whether you have any questions about the film.

We almost can't believe we're saying it, but THAT'S A WRAP on our first feature-length film: KILL YOUR LOVER!

Last year at FrightFest 2021 Alix and Keir looked at each other and said come hell or high water we HAVE to shoot a feature in 2022.

Making this feature has been like sailing a ship while constructing it and we have been so humbled by the support of both our collaborators and the wonderful people who have supported the film financially.

All of this is to say Switchblade Cinema is very emotional right now and so proud and grateful to everyone who made this happen 💙

Very excited to continue the insane journey, as we venture into postproduction 🔥

Having worked on big blockbusters such as AQUAMAN 2, to the fantastic BOILING POINT - Switchblade Cinema were lucky to have previously worked with Rebecca on their recent horror film 'Do Not Resuscitate'

Rebecca has some truly gnarly effects planned for KILL YOUR LOVER, including burns, bruises and pus - not to mention those tasty kills! All we can say for now is: 💀🩸
