As I've discussed recently, I believe that proxy wars will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of World War 3 and the subsequent shaping of a new world order.

Currently, several proxy wars are unfolding, but I believe the decisive ones will take place in Taiwan, Ukraine, and the Middle East. These regions are more significant than others.

It's becoming apparent that the proxy wars in Ukraine and Taiwan are likely to conclude in favor of the BRICS+ alliance. This situation has led me to expect that NATO & Friends will make a final effort in the Middle East to prevent the rise of a multipolar world order and maintain the US-led global structure.

The Middle East is on the brink of its most significant conflict in generations. The region is divided into two main geopolitical factions.

The first group consists of the US and its allies, including Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and others. Although Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE are members of BRICS+, their true loyalties align more closely with NATO & Friends.

The second group, known as the Axis of Resistance, includes Iran, Syria, the Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, various Palestinian groups (including Hamas), and several militias in Iraq. Russia and China support this coalition.

If a regional war breaks out in the Middle East, it will likely be between these two groups. In the context of World War 3, the US and its allies represent NATO & Friends, while the Axis of Resistance represents BRICS+.

Iran, the main backer of the Axis of Resistance, does not possess nuclear weapons. Unlike in Europe (with Russia) or East Asia (with China), there is no major nuclear power in the Middle East to deter NATO & Friends from taking more aggressive military actions. This makes Iran the weakest link in the BRICS+ alliance's push for a multipolar world order.

As a result, I expect NATO & Friends to make a final stand in the Middle East to try and neutralize the Axis of Resistance, thus preventing the emergence of a multipolar world order.

Here's a brief overview of the current situation in various parts of the Middle East to help us understand the bigger picture:

**Gaza**
Israel's efforts to completely destroy Hamas have been unsuccessful, despite causing significant destruction. Even the US government acknowledges that military force alone cannot defeat Hamas, as they are engaging in guerrilla warfare. This form of warfare focuses on survival and persistence, undermining the enemy's morale and forcing them into a war of attrition. Israel faces a no-win situation, as they either negotiate a ceasefire on unfavorable terms or continue a protracted guerrilla war that could lead to a larger regional conflict.

**Syria**
Since 2011, NATO & Friends have attempted to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, but these efforts failed due to intervention by Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah. Syria remains a key member of the Axis of Resistance and sympathetic to BRICS+.

**Iraq**
After the US overthrew Saddam Hussein in 2003, they aimed to reshape Iraq similarly to Jordan. However, this did not go as planned. The Shia majority in Iraq, sympathetic to Iran, now holds significant power. Despite the presence of a few thousand US troops, Iraq's orientation leans toward the Axis of Resistance and BRICS+.

**Yemen**
The Houthis, backed by Iran, control most of Yemen and have frustrated a coalition led by Saudi Arabia. The Houthis remain in power, aligned with BRICS+ and capable of disrupting global shipping routes, further demonstrating the region's instability.

**Iran**
Iran, a non-artificial state with natural borders, leads the Axis of Resistance. Despite numerous attempts by the US and its allies to limit Iran's power, it has grown stronger economically and militarily. Overthrowing the Iranian government would require a full-scale war, a scenario that could potentially lead to the development of Iranian nuclear weapons. The prospect of NATO & Friends using nuclear weapons against Iran could escalate into a larger, uncontrollable conflict, making it an unlikely option.

**Conclusion**
While NATO & Friends have significant military power, including nuclear capabilities, the geopolitical momentum seems to favor the Axis of Resistance and BRICS+. The continued trend in this direction could lead to a decisive shift towards a multipolar world order. As the situation evolves, NATO & Friends may face a crucial decision: accept the rise of BRICS+ or risk a full-scale war that could end disastrously. The outcome is uncertain, but the potential for significant change is high.

The coming crisis may be unprecedented, potentially leading to the establishment of new political, social, and economic structures. The historical significance of these changes should not be underestimated, as they could result in substantial consequences for those unprepared for the new world order.

Details of the investigation of the Trump assassination attempt have become sensational - Zakharova

🇩🇪Germany: Every second third-grader has difficulty reading, counting and writing

As national tests have shown, every second German third-grader has still not mastered reading, arithmetic and writing. 46 percent of students do not reach the minimum standards in mathematics, and 43 percent in reading.

Things are also sad for eighth-graders: 74 percent of students failed math, 62 percent failed reading. According to the results of monitoring in 2023, every third German schoolchild cannot count, every fourth cannot read, and almost every fifth is unable to apply knowledge from the natural sciences in everyday life.

The alarming results are also confirmed by international studies. According to a study assessing reading skills in elementary grades, 25 percent of German students are significantly behind in their reading skills by the end of primary school. As a result, Germany scored 524 points on this indicator and placed in the middle of the international ranking. Singapore took first place with 587 points, and South Africa is at the bottom of the ranking with 288 points.

Educators also agree with the findings of the studies. For example, Barbara Mechtle, the principal of a primary school in Ludwigshafen (Rhineland-Palatinate), gives an example from her own practice: according to the results of the 2022/2023 school year, 40 of the 132 first-graders at the school she runs were not promoted to the second grade. At least 90 arrests made across England and Northern Ireland so far

At least 90 arrests have been made across the UK, including in London, Hartlepool, Bristol, Belfast, Southport, Hull, Stoke-on-Trent and Liverpool, and some charges have been brought, with police warning of more to come once footage has been scoured.

A total of 23 people were arrested on Saturday, Merseyside police said, including 12 arrests for the disorder in the city centre, nine arrests for the disorder on County Road and two arrests in connection with disorder in Southport.

In Bristol, police made 14 arrests because of violent disorder in the city centre, which Avon and Somerset police described as “completely unacceptable”.

Lancashire police said more than 20 people were arrested and dispersal orders were issued in parts of Blackpool, Preston and Blackburn.

Staffordshire police said 10 people were arrested after disorder in Stoke-on-Trent.

Further protests are planned for Sunday and more trouble is likely in the coming days, police said.

“We know people will try and do this again and policing has been and will continue to be ready,” said chief constable Ben-Julian “BJ” Harrington, who speaks on public order for the National Police Chiefs’ Council.

He added:

There are 130 extra units in place across the country, meaning almost 4,000 extra public order-trained officers to deploy.
