Years ago, a song called "Pieces" showed up in my Spotify recommendations, and man, I love that song. I wasn't sure this was even the same Stephen Cochran until I heard him sing. I knew. Great meeting you tonight!!

Spotify Wrapped is out. It's a fun time to tangibly show one's support for their favorite artists! This year, I'm a bit bugged by it, though.

ANTI-HERO?
An anti-hero is basically a villain.

On the next page of my Wrapped, the Green Devil called me out because I "listen to songs on repeat, over and over." I DO. I get to listen to music all day, and sometimes, all evening. TV is s**t and music is my lifeline. I listen to my favorite playlists over and over, and I love it! Most of that music is from independent artists.

I bring this up because we know they vowed to crack down on fraudulent streaming in 2024, and we all assumed it meant streaming bots used by larger labels. Maybe it's more.

Anti-hero just seems like an odd "name" to be called. I hope I'm reading into that too much, but am I a target for streaming on repeat? Are you a target for encouraging it? It's anybody 's guess.

Got to meet NEEDTOBRETHE three times since moving to Nash this year, and they're the coolest guys!!

The Caves album listening party this summer was the best experience!!! Autographed stuff is a nice perk, too!!

Just happened to run into Zandi Holup tonight!! Still haven't caught a live show yet, but will soon!! If you haven't heard 'Gas Station Flowers' yet, where ya been!! The most unique vocals I've heard in a long time!!

Got to meet Allii Walker on Monday at her first show.

Come out and see her at Whiskey Jam Thursday and on Sunday and Tuesdat at Live Oak. Prepare for some whoskey-drinkin' shindig and shenanigans! And probably the bagpipes! The best of the best!

The round at the Bluebird yesterday was filled with great music and fun, but it was especially a privilege for me to be able to share in 's first round at the Bluebird! This is a big milestone, so kudos to you! Keep kickin' down those doors!

Last night at the Bluebird was a special nite, one to remember. Got to meet Raelynn and hear some of my favorites.

I also got to hear not one, but two co-writers of Lainey Wilson's "Heart Like A Truck" perform the song in the round, in the closest seat possible. Trannie always hits that note and it gives me chills!

Alexis Wilkins was new to me but also a great performance. What a great night!!!
