Herzog News What the world is saying about Brazil - democratic and plural narratives for contemporary politics.

Herzog News is a collaborative website created by the supra-partisan, anti-fascist and anti-imperialist organization Brigada Herzog. As Brazil faces its most important political crisis of the last decades, it seems crucial to gather in one place the democratic, plural and independent narratives that are being able to embrace the complexity of the current situation. Here you will find news from all

over the world, as well as translated news published in Brazil. The name pays tribute to Vladimir Herzog (27 June 1937 – 25 October 1975), alias Vlado, a Brazilian journalist, university professor and playwright who was killed by the military dictatorship that ruled Brazil between 1964 and 1985. Herzog is a symbol of the struggle for democracy, freedom, and justice.
