From the very childhood he was distinguished with his passion for music and singing, thanks to his mother who was his first teacher in music. After graduating from Kutaisi Musical College and Tbilisi State Conservatoire, he continued his studies in Italy with world-known masters. At different times he studied singing technique with Luba Lomakina, Nodar Andguladze, Montserrat Caballé, Willian Mateu
zzi, Raina Kabaivanska, Lella Cuberli, Vazha Chachava and others. Abuladze is a winner of about ten international contests. His successful carrier in Europe is connected to the opera theatres such as Arena di Verona, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Busseto, Cagliari Theatre, Grange Park Opera in London, Montpelier Capitol Theatre, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona etc. In all above-mentioned theatres he has performed 27 leading roles. Gocha Abuladze has collaborated with many outstanding artists, such as Franco Zeffirelli, Hugo de Ana, Daniel Oren, Andrea Battistoni, Donato Renzetti, Marcus Boschi, Gustav Kuhn, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Michelangelo Mazza, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Leo Nucci and others. In 2014 Gocha Abuladze was named as the best singer of the season in Germany. It must be mentioned separately about his cooperation with Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra with which his first disc of “Un giorno di regno” by Giuseppe Verdi was recorded while it was aired live through the Germany Central Radio station. This recording is still being sold in famous music shops all over the Europe. Recently, Abuladze made his successful American debut with Carnegie Hall in New York.
