No one can do everything but everyone can do something.

In this episode we talk about some of the actions we have taken over the last 12 years to become better stewards of the Earth and our environment.

It has been a journey of learning and intentionality and we admit, there is still a long way to go. However, as we continue to grow in knowledge, each step gets easier. Join us on the adventure as we take steps toward sustainability.

This is our final discussion on the Art House Dallas Origin series "On Patience". This week we talk about process, efficiency and how God is not nearly as concerned with efficiency as he is with our growth. What part does process play in our growth? And can we learn to enjoy the process of life instead of trying to bypass it in order to get to the conclusion of a goal? We hope you'll listen on your favorite podcast app or at https://www.coffeetimeconversations.com.

With the busyness of our lives always on display, and even a point of pride at times, how do we make rest and renewal a priority in our lives. It's such a hard question, but also so important for our wellness.

Who gives a hoot about this Texas heat? Well, we do of course. It’s hot out there!!!

But at least it’s a bit more bearable with an iced coffee from our new Crofton cold brew pitcher. (We got ours at .)

All you have to do
1. Put your coffee grounds in the metal filter
2. Fill with water
3. Put in fridge for 12-24 hours
4. Enjoy tasty coffee

What is your favorite way to deal with the heat of summer?

Have you done something that was hard for you to do lately?

Rebecca rode on a ferris wheel for the very first time.

Being up high and feeling out of control are not things she readily embraces but being with Robert helps her be brave.

Tag someone that helps you step out of your comfort zone.

We talk about this on our podcast episode 33. And would love to have you join us for this year's
ORIGIN SERIES: ON PATIENCE

Repost from

The aim of this series focused on patience is to explore the impact of this virtue exemplified in the habits of the believer, including the artist. What does patience say to us who are interested in effecting the common good both with what we create and our faith? Through this series, the hope is to unearth something different from the frantic, anxious pace of the modern world and explore how patience influences, encourages, and informs the artist’s work.

We are excited to begin this series with a lecture from Dr. Kelly Kapic who is featured in our On Patience reader. This opening with be both in-person and live streamed.

When I was in high school we hosted a foreign exchange student from Japan my freshman year. She came for a visit this week and we went to see my painting in the Art in the Atrium exhibit in Frisco.

It was lovely to see her again after 30+ years. It almost seemed like we were still teenagers. 😉😆

She also brought me a wonderful set of watercolors in I'm excited to try.

If your interested in seeing my painting it will be up until September 15 at 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Also, I will be at the reception on May 2, 7-8pm. There are 4 floors of lovely art to view. I would love to see you there!

Listen to this week's podcast, episode 31, to hear about Robert's sneakiness, how the market went, and learn more about some of the wonderful people we met there.
