The 24/7 music stream started April 27, 2016 and the talk shows started May 2, 2016. Riot Radio is Total Variety (talk & music) - Partial Sanity. Content is available on 2 smart phone apps, desktop players, and everything is on-demand. As of Nov 12, 2017 Riot Radio has 6,400 unique listeners per week and 92 countries have tuned in. Darryn has lived the entertainment biz in San Diego, Los Angeles, Nashville & St. (formed rock band On Tracy Lane; recorded and toured overseas & nationally) Darryn co-founded The Mayhem Network prod. in St. Louis in 2012 & started The Darryn Yates Show. His show has been on Charter TV, CBS Sports Radio 920AM & the morning-drive show on 1380AM, Extreme Talk. In the 2014 STL Riverfront Times Awards, he was nominated for Best AM Radio Personality & Best Radio Show, Music. Darryn won the 2016 Best Radio Personality/DJ in the Alton IL Advantage News (Riot Host Rick Fowler earned an honorable mention). Riot Radio won the 2016 Southwest IL People’s Choice for Best Entertainment. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch & Suburban Journals) It was just announced Darryn won Best Entertainer in the 2017 People’s Choice of Southwest IL.
