Ultimate Breakfast Oatmeal
Oatmeal doesn't just warm you up in the morning — it fuels your body for the day ahead and also helps protect it from diseases down the road. Oatmeal is an immune system-booster!
The beta-glucan found in oats helps boost our infection-fighting blood cells. Oats also contain selenium and zinc, two important nutrients for warding off infection and helping you stay in fighting shape. Hence perfect for mornings in this situation as it’s even super quick and easy to make.
RECIPE (Makes 2 bowls)
1 Cup Oats
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Mashed Banana
Toppings/bowl : Fresh or frozen blueberries with half banana and sprinkling of Cacao nibs with 1 Tbsp of peanut butter
Take a saucepan and add in all the ingredients, cook and stir continuously on low heat for around 15-20 minutes depending upon the consistency you like. I like it thick but still a little runny!
Now top with the berries and banana and a good sprinkling of Cacao nibs or you can even go for a piece of dark chocolate. Don’t forget to add in 1 Tbsp peanut butter

Also Cacao supports your heart health and has antioxidant benefits, but it is also a great immune system contributor. The peanut butter not only keeps us full but peanuts are also rich in heart-healthy vitamins like magnesium and vitamin E!
