ishing, Stuart has a keen understanding of the modern publishing industry and how to position a book and author for success:

Public Relations / Book Publicity – Managing your relationship with the media (and everyone else important to you.) With years of experience in Jewish book publicity (as well as general book publicity) we use our contacts and experience to maximize media exposure for your book. We work with traditional media such as newspapers, magazines, websites, radio and TV as well as new outlets including blogs and social media. Book Shepherding – Helping authors get their book through all the necessary “hoops” on the way to becoming a book and being published. We tailor the service to your specific needs. If you require a top notch editor and graphic designer plus publicity services or only a consult on distribution options, you only pay for what you need. Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, blogging….there is so much that can be done . We have experience in using social media to help our clients achieve their goals. We’ll help you navigate the options , make choices that help you and manage campaigns that get results. Marketing and Distribution – Amazing reviews aren’t worth much if readers can’t find your book. We get your book to market so consumers can find and buy it easily. We establish relationships with distributors such as Baker & Taylor and Ingram, Barnes & Noble and we set up Amazon accounts for online sales. Need distribution and storage? We will find you solutions that meet your needs. Events/Book Tours – Speaking to community organizations, synagogues or in a bookstore can be a great way to connect with readers while getting exposure and sales for your books. With years of experience arranging book events of all types, we can set up the events that you want and manage all the details as well. Back Office Management – whether it is finding and applying for book awards or seeking out blurbs for your book, we will take care of the details, so you can focus on other tasks.

If I had a dollar for every time an author said,
"I don't want to toot my own horn, but I really think my book is unique,"
I'd be much wealthier.

My response? "I'm glad you believe your book is unique. If you don't, who will?"

Yes! Your book is unique!
Everyone has their own perspective, making your story truly one of a kind.

That's why you wrote it, and that's why we're excited to promote it.

Believe in your work and let its uniqueness shine!

The journey of creating and publishing a book can be a long and complex journey. It is easy to get lost (multiple times!) during the process.

It can be helpful to have a clear roadmap to follow, and to have someone to help guide you through the process and keep you on track.

A book shepherd is an invaluable resource in this regard, helping you to navigate the publishing jungle and stay focused on your goals.

The publishing jungle can be confusing. At times it’s easy to not see the forest for the trees, and it’s often unclear which direction to take.

As a book shepherd, I make sure that your book project is moving along as it should. I help to break the process down into smaller steps and that can be tackled one thing at a time, rather than trying to do everything at once.

I clarify where we are in the project and where we are going.

There is always a map which we are following and referring to our map is important to have context and remind you where we are!

Doing this helps to prevent feeling overwhelmed and ensure that you are making progress towards your ultimate goal of publishing your book.

Did you know 1940s Rehavia was called "Revakia" because of all the singles who lived there?

After celebrating Jerusalem Day, a great book to read is Palestine Posts by Daniel S. Chertoff, published by Koren Jerusalem.

This book shares details of pre-independence Israel with a special focus on Jerusalem and insights into the war with local Arabs as well as with the surrounding Arab countries.

(It's on sale as well!)

Mordecai Chertoff came to Palestine in 1947 as a twenty-five-year-old, determined to make his contribution to the emerging Jewish state. He wrote vivid and often moving letters to his family, describing the events of that time: the news of the UN vote for partition, the siege of Jerusalem, the bombi...

this is more evidence of the West simply "losing it".

It would be so nice to hear from our non-Jewish friends in publishing that they do NOT support this.

A litmus test has emerged across wide swaths of the literary world, effectively excluding Jews from full participation unless they denounce Israel.

Today is a good day to learn more about modern Religious Zionism and listen to this interview of journalist Yair Ettinger by Scott Kahn

God wants a dialogue where we answer his generosity by using His gifts to make Him present in the world. The major challenge for Religious Zionism, then, is to decide, as best as...
