@venombenzo is a dj and producer from Culver City, California. An up and comer within the jungle scene, Benzo is no stranger to the underground. Having played in bands since the age of 15 as a guitar player, bass player, and even a sample tech/scratch DJ. His discography ranges between genre-weaving electronic music and ear splitting grindcore tracks. He’s had 9 releases (including remixes) as Venom Benzo since his solo debut in 2020, and one release under the name “act on omen” in 2022. Fusing together jungle/breakcore drum fills with carefully crafted, sampled based melodies similar to those of 90s-early 2000s hip hop. His deep love for the culture bleeds through into his music and mixes in a cascade of scratches, experimentation, and progressive blends. Keep an eye out for his performance at Ruff N Rugged featuring General Malice, Dub Liner, and Mugilla, as well as an EP that is expected to drop later this year.
