To all of my Facebook friends--

Once again, I have to say “Thanks” for your support of my single releases from my upcoming Million Dollar Blues album.
I could say “Thanks a Million” I guess. (haha)

“Let’s Work Together” has been around #10- #14 on the Reverbnation Rock Chart after only about two weeks since its release.

Today I am pre-releasing the second single from Million Dollar Blues, a tune called “The Other Side of Midnight.” I play all the instruments except drums, and I do my own engineering, too. It took a long time to pull all of my experiences together, but this is the result.

With THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT I have created what I believe is the best Southern Rock tune in a long time, and the guitar playing sounds like nothing you have ever heard (not my opinion— it’s that of industry people who have heard it).

It is a highly autobiographical story of my experiences in the Rock and Roll world. There were some dark places, believe me, but I stayed the course and I could not have done so with the input I have had from Facebook friends over the last 12 years or so.

I particularly love to hear feedback from HS friends and musicians I knew when I was just starting out, but believe me, I appreciate all of you. I haven’t gotten rich or famous, but one thing’s for sure—
I haven’t needed a day job in over ten years.

To all of my great Facebook friends:
I cannot make this stuff up--I am a walking miracle, and between Medicare and Cigna Insurance, I have had a million dollars spent on me in order to keep me going. This album is a miracle as well, and
that's why it is called "Million Dollar Blues."

It has taken three years to finish because during that time:

1) I was already recovering from a stroke:

2) I had congestive heart failure right at the beginning of the
COVID shutdown;

3) I caught the virus while I was in the hospital for the heart failure.
I had four heart procedures in one year, which led to my getting a state-of-the-art Three Prong Turbo Heavy Duty pacemaker, which is working great.

After the last procedure (installing the pacemaker), when I was waking up, the surgeon said--

"Congratulations, every thing went great!
By the way, your heart stopped during the procedure..."
He did assure me that they got it going again.
Oh yeah, one more minor detail--after I recovered from all of that, I was doing some routine work around my house and slipped with a circular saw and literally severed my right thumb off (a bad break for a guitar player.

However, there was one string of flesh still attached, and (another miracle) the main motor nerve was intact. As a result, the Vanderbilt Hospital Wound Unit sewed it back on, and I made a full recovery (I had to learn to play a guitar all over again).

Anyway, I have had a lot of encouragement from fiends on FB, here in Nashville, and from all of the great musicians and producers with whom I have had the privilege of working.
So thanks again everybody.

BTW:
THIS IS the BEST SOUTHERN ROCK ALBUM IN A LONG, LONG TIME.
It will Be back from mastering in a couple of weeks, and then it will go out to about 20 streaming services.
Spotify is usually the first to get my albums.

Thanks for listening. This Website has free tracks from my "I Never Make My Move Too Soon" album.

I use it for previews. I'm on almost all major steaming services as well, but my FB friends have a lot to do with the fact that I'm still scoring at age 75.

However, remember, I'm actually on the Blues charts. In Blues, 75 is early middle aged. 😎😎🎸🎸

To all my Facebook Friends--
It took three years to finish this album, because right at the beginning of the virus shut down, I got an attack of congestive heart failure, and then I almost went blind from cataracts.
I had four heart procedures in one year, resulting in a pacemaker that is working great now. I also had cornea transplants in both eyes, and I can see without glasses for the first time in years.
Sooooo.
I FINALLY FINISHED THE ALBUM! 🙂😎🎸🎸
This is my fifth album on My Generation Records, and I believe it to be my best, and I believe it to be a great album with great music.
I hope everyone agrees, and....
