We’ve made the decision to remove our entire catalogue from Spotify. This will take effect over the next couple of weeks, as timelines vary depending on the processes of our distribution partners.

Spotify’s ongoing disregard for the artists who make the platform what it is — from unsustainable payouts to the broader devaluation of creative work — has made this decision long overdue. On top of that, the actions and investments of Spotify’s CEO in companies advancing military technology and surveillance stand in direct conflict with the values we believe in.

This may only be a small drop in the ocean, but it’s a step we feel is necessary. We want to help shape a future that nurtures ethical technology, artistic integrity, and fairer ecosystems for both artists and listeners.

New music out today! Presenting the solo debut of Porto-based virtuoso António Feiteira. "Performing the Heimlich on an Ouroboros" is now available as a limited edition cassette + digital. Link in bio!

António Feiteira’s debut solo project, "Performing the Heimlich on an Ouroboros", sees the Porto-based percussionist and composer channel intoxicating ritualistic impressions across the EP’s triptych of compositions. Delicately rendered into a myriad of details, Feiteira recontextualises granulated glitches, pops and crackles on “Ghost Hiss, Resonant Hip” as if we are seated beside a digital bonfire, embers floating skyward in a spiral of rising heat. Electronics jitter in their harmonies with a nervousness—evocative yet restrained.

The EP’s second movement, “Synthesized Chronos Turned Organless Aion,” retains the textural tactility of the previous track, propelled by a drum pattern that ebbs and flows, weaving between ringing resonances and electronics buried beneath plumes of vaporous chimes. Conscious linearity yelding to a sense of harmonic cyclicality before succumbing to an endless, but welcome, sleep.

Final piece “Killswitch Counterpoint” sees Feiteira place guitar front and centre, pensively glitched out and forlorn. The hyperactive flicker of the ASMR-like pops, contrasting against lush downcast melodies—softer in their contortions but contorted nonetheless—gives way to a trance-inducing repetition, as smoke begins to clear and nothing is left but the ashes.

Welcoming POL100 to Eastern Nurseries, the Italian producer Paolo Maiarelli unveils "Voice From The Little House", a six-track suite of evocative soundscapes that expand on his distinct sense of storytelling.

Told in murmurs, textures, and spectral drift, "Voice From The Little House" conjures a liminal world shaped by dreams, folklore, and the half-seen. POL100’s sonic world feels unearthed rather than composed — layered, brittle, and blurred at the edges, like artifacts from a place where memory and imagination entwine. At once intimate and otherworldly, these pieces hover in a space between presence and disappearance. It's music that seems to breathe through the walls of a house buried in moss and time, its silence thick with memory.

The house speaks.

Welcoming London-based artist House on the Strand to the Eastern Nurseries fold following his impressive 2024 debut, "Heroine", Ruben Elbrond-Palmer channels a sombre, cinematic sense of sound with "Unrest".

Interpolating the visual sensibilities of some of his favourite artists, filmmakers, and photographers into the sonic field, Elbrond-Palmer’s palette cuts loose from the percussive elements of his previous work, blending analogue synthesis with repurposed guitars, haunting melodies, and field recordings that call to mind the hazy delirium of a dusty summer’s day. Sitting at its core, "Unrest" places harmony front and centre, with each sombre movement rising and falling as electric fences hum, helicopters hover overhead, and unknown events are set in motion.

Deceptively simple, the resultant album is gestalt—an elegy of melancholic moments, lost to the world.

Following a number of key contributions to Eastern Nurseries compilations, Romance Relic returns to the fold with their latest EP, “Hundred Petals of Suffocation”.

Expanding on minute moments of daily life, Romance Relic’s delicate layering of field recordings, melancholic clarinet passages and vlog samples is interspersed with juxtaposing bursts of SFX across the EP’s 6 tracks. Capturing beauty in the mundane, “Hundred Petals of Suffocation” seeks to emphasise the allure of imperfection, gesturing toward a corporeality of the sonic palette.

Respecting the limitations of one’s own body sits at the core of Jussi’s compositional ethos, where value is placed on striking a balance between the intended and the possible, culminating in a tender and deeply affecting sensibility.

Markus Sollid joins Eastern Nurseries with “Spirit Cable Error / Fluctuating Stasis”, a two-track EP that effortlessly weaves blissful drones with jittering granular artefacts. Departing from the saxophone-centred approach of 2023’s “Coastline Between Now and Never” (Forlaget Kornmod), Markus’ sonic palette expands further, setting soaring leads against submerged bass lines and gentler percussive elements - a new horizon for the Copenhagen-based composer & producer.
