Hello everyone.

I sadly announce that I will be unable to participate in this year's TGR GT Cup World Finals at the Gran Turismo World Series final in Barcelona due to Visa refual issues. We have filed an appeal to the Visa refusal earlier this month but it was still denied by the Spanish Consulate in Manila despite submitting strong proof of the event.

It is heartbreaking to miss a prestigious event due to visa issues, but I will move on. 🥺

I would like to thank TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines and Polyphony Digital for doing everything possible to support and assist me in my Visa application.

I would also like to thank my team Legion of Racers for the unending support.

Hoping that next time Visa applications for events like these would be less of a hassle in the future.

About last weekend..

I caught wind of a Forza Horizon challenge at a new SM Mall in Sto. Tomas Batangas last Sunday. It was one direct bus ride from where I live so I decided to drop by not just to race for prizes but also to meet fellow local Forza racers.

But anyways, thank you SM Cyberzone and Express for the event. :)

Moving on though, I am looking forward to a big gaming event this weekend :)

Finally doing TGR GT Cup Asia Regionals this year after winning 2021(but for some reason the Philippines was not included in the Regionals) and moving up to real racing last year. Played it safe this year just to make sure I qualify for the Regional finals.

Next stop: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

After the 1 hour race, it's straight to Tsukuba Circuit for Round 1 of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines GR GT Cup 2023 at 7pm GMT +8 with the Junior and Promotional class races buying me time to catch the Sporting Class race tonight.

No joy for the last leg of the Vios Cup Autocross Challenge. 🙁 Only P4 in the GT Cup class after being knocked out in the semi-finals phase with very close margins to P3.

Rain came in at a bad time when it made the track unpredictable. It was also my first time to race in such conditions as all practice sessions were pretty much dry.

Still thankful that we're all safe in this leg. 🙏

Thank you Toyota Motor Philippines / TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines for the season that has been. Hoping we could race again one way or another (or even many ways) next year.

Got the opportunity to test drive the SR1 courtesy of Radical Cars Philippines as my prize from the Philippine Motorsport Expo. First time to be unleashed on the full Clark Speedway layout without any single file car formation in the way.

Nothing compares, for real. The car is forgiving, yet demands a lot from the driver.

Plenty of things to learn from my track outing which can be refined and applied to both the real and virtual environments.

Thank you Radical Cars Philippines (c/o Enrique Hormillo, and of course the one and only Marlon Stockinger who pointed out the things I can improve on), and SIM² Premier (for hosting the challenge back in PMX which lead me to this) for the opportunity to test drive this beast.

Split 1 of the Logitech G Challenge 22 wrapped up. Qualified P5, dropped to P14 after a failed overtake attempt, recovered back to P8 to bring home something nice. Not bad, but not great either as I would have qualified to regional finals right away had it not been for the incidents. :(

Have to run for Split 2 to give it another shot to go for the regionals.

Congrats to my teammates Dillan Tan Racing and Andika Rama "RamStig" SimRacing for taking P1 and P2 respectively.

P1 on the Radical Cars Philippines Time Attack challenge at the Philippine Motorsport Expo. Although not really the fastest time recorded for the entire event, I kept it clean when it mattered the most on the final heat with just a couple of laps to set a time, battling against the other best sim racers in the Philippines

P2 in the GR GT class for Round 1 of the Toyota GR Vios Cup Autocross Challenge.

Autocross isn't really my cup of tea to begin with after having experienced it back in GT Academy 2015/2016, but happy to break a barrier this weekend during my first proper race event.

Looking forward for some more in the next leg, maybe some circuit runs in the future too! 😊
