It's amazing how video can generate faster introductions --

The day I received approval from Lorian Communications, LLC to use this Video Business Card I sent it to a colleague who is starting a new business asking if they would like an introduction. This is the response:

"LOVE the video. The music and her intensity make her seem like a badass. I would love an introduction, please!"

This morning Lori showed it to her networking group and now has multiple meetings to discuss how she helps her clients -- this was a direct result of the video -- viewers connect emotionally, visually and audibly, they can better understand how your company helps others, and they can see your authenticity.

Although it's warming up in parts of Colorado, this message is important to keep in mind when walking dogs around frozen water. We collaborated with Drennen's Dreams and South Metro Fire Rescue to create this educational video and used footage from an actual dog rescue.

Many drownings occur from people who never intend on getting in the water.

As the ice on frozen lakes melts away, your dog may be at risk of falling through the ice into the water and in the need of rescue. Please watch this 7-minute video to keep your dog, and you, safe from drowning! Presented by the Drennen’s Dreams Foundation, South Metro Fire Rescue, and Cardona Creative, LLC. The Avalon in Grand Junction, CO is my hometown theatre, where I watched Star Wars for the first time (and at least 20x thereafter). One of the great theaters with a balcony and an anchor of Main Street.

I just finished reading this book by Robert C Peterson. It is a great read with a lot of valuable information. The book is broken down into 11 chapters that are to-the-point and help remind entrepreneurs what they should be doing, or giving new entrepreneurs important perspectives on adding value to others. Chapter 8, Living in Integrity, gives the reader new way to reflect on integrity for yourself. This is a must-read book for new entrepreneurs and business owners that don't have a lot of time. Well done, Robert.

All of us are saddened by the fires that swept through the Boulder, CO area and are hopeful the families can get their lives back together soon.
