Hosted by retired DJ, Aaron Olson, his DJ career began in 1997 and spanned 20 odd years jetting all over Canada to perform.
He eventually signed to Nukleuz and Riot! Recordings before retiring in 2014.

Platipus is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. For three decades, Platipus has been a driving force in the electronic music scene, showcasing some of the most innovative and exciting artists from around the world.
To mark this milestone, Platipus is releasing a series of 12 x 12" vinyl releases, a new compilation CD, and a digital release that includes remastered versions of all the label's classic tracks. These releases will be rolled out over the next year.

We regret to announce a delay in the release of the first two vinyl releases commemorating 30 Years Platipus due to unforeseen technical circumstances. The revised release schedule will ensure that fans can enjoy the vinyl collection as planned, albeit with a slight adjustment. However, we are pleased to confirm that the CD compilation will still be released in time for the holiday season.
Originally scheduled for release now, the first vinyl will now be available mid-September 2023. Each subsequent vinyl release will be released at one-month intervals, providing fans with an opportunity to complete their collection over a period of time. The revised schedule ensures that the quality of the releases is maintained, and fans can expect a product that lives up to their expectations.
In more positive news, we are thrilled to announce that the CD compilation, also part of the 30 Years Platipus celebration, will be released as planned. Fans can look forward to enjoying a comprehensive collection of remastered Platipus classics and new tracks early in December 2023, just in time for the holiday season. The CD compilation will serve as a perfect gift for music enthusiasts and a nostalgic journey through the rich history of Platipus.
