The Sigh Press The Sigh Press publishes a quarterly online literary journal for writers of English in Tuscany and readers anywhere. The mix will be different each time.

The Sigh Press hopes to shine a light on the wealth of writers of English in Tuscany. We like work written with wit and elegance, the essence of the story, the experience, the memory, condensed to an intoxicating gasp. Writers and visual artists are invited to submit work in response to specific themes set for each issue. We seek to publish work in four categories: Fiction & Creative Nonfiction; P

oetry; Cultural Commentary & Questions; and Visual Art (not limited to English speakers). Each issue is individually curated and unique. Some issues may feature a piece from each category. Certain issues may feature several works from one category and omit others. See our Submissions page on our web site for further details.
