We’ve been gone for a while on spring break, and the prep and planning for it meant I didn’t get my April calendars in order SO instead of cleaning my house this morning, I’m taking advantage of the beautiful weather by sitting in my spot out back and updating all of my monthly spreads 🥰

Something about planning outside listening to the world around me is inherently peaceful. Do you ever plan outside?

What’s your favorite thing to do on a cold day? For me, it’s drinking hot cocoa ☕️🍫😋

I planned to make hot cocoa bombs for Valentine’s Day, but time got away from me and I never did. Since I have all the supplies, and its cold and snowy here (not enough to stick - but enough for my kids to get full snow gear on, and then complain it’s too cold 🤣), I figured why not make them today?!

For a first attempt, I don’t think these look half bad. Now to see if they taste ok 🥴

What habits are you tracking this month?

Tracking habits generally proves very difficult for me - but when I ordered my planner this year I decided (very impulsively 🤣) to add the coloring pages. I didn’t know then how calming and rewarding it would be!

I’m tracking quite a few things this month and while typically I would have lost count by day 6 or 6, I’m not at day 24 and doing strong 💪🏻

New year new planner! Since things are so crazy right now I’m testing out a few to see what works best for me. Today my arrived! I decided to test out the weekly budget planner so I’m hoping it helps keep my goals right in front of me as I keep up with my week too 🥰

Winding down the evening with a quick plan for the next two days, reviewing some materials for work, then picking up a brand new book I’m excited to get started on! Nothing like snuggling up in bed and doing a quick brain dump to help relax and unwind ☺️📖🤓

Blanket is my sherpa, going a full 6 years strong 💪🏻💕, planner is currently my , which I’ve been using this whole month and will have a (very happy) review for you soon, and the book is Making Medicine by Keith Veronese. Glasses came from 🤓🤣

Do you ever start to get overwhelmed with everything you “should” be doing while you’re taking some down time?

I sure do! Life never slows down... even when I’m trying to sit and enjoy the outside. My brain keeps going at a million miles a minute 🤣

To help keep me from feeling overwhelmed or unproductive, I usually bring out a notebook and pen and write down anything that I think of that I need to get done.

Once I go back inside I’ll pick what to do today and what can wait until later - but it’s a quick way to help me ease my mind when my thoughts wander.

The weather is nearly scorching, and I may or may not have set up this weeks planner spread today... 🥵

I’m loving being able to be outside as much as I have. My garden is coming along wonderfully, and all the summer flowers have started blossoming.

Now if only my seasonal allergies would cooperate 🤣🌸

This morning, I took my kids to and someone in the car in front of me paid for my order, so I paid for the car behind me. I casually mentioned to the cashier that I hope that maybe it'll start a domino effect. She then told me that people have been paying for the car behind them all morning long - and since it wasn't really that early I assumed it's been going on for a while.⁠⁠

When I got home, I was ready to start working on more YouTube content. It's been a while so I needed to completely redo my lighting set up. Ever go through your sticker collection and find an older kit that you completely forgot you even had?⁠

When I bought this kit, I just bought a sampler sheet and a few extra add-ons that went with the old hourly layout (you remember, that one that got rid of the half hours...) and most of those extra sheets don't really work for me anymore - so I grabbed my fav Mildliner and here we are!⁠

I'm loving the bright and sunny vibes the layout is giving me though. I'm glad I did it! The white space is really making me happy too - like I have time to just kick back and enjoy myself 🥰
