PLAYTHING is a Melbourne based magazine looking to promote discussion of s*x and s*xuality in a community context. By pairing academic writing with s*xually explicit imagery and text, Plaything aims to bring s*x out of the shadows and provide a physical space in which to explore, discuss and celebrate our-intellectual-and-s*xual selves in a way that is safe and enjoyable. S*x with the light on, in
a room full of people… (but, like, in a fun way). WE are currently looking for submissions from a diverse range of contributors eager to talk constructively about s*x, s*xuality and gender. All perspectives and experiences which you are willing to share are legitimate and appreciated. Our aim is to encourage healthy representations of s*x and focus on open exploration of a diverse spectrum of genders and s*xualities. We are looking for work in a variety of mediums, including essays, erotic fiction, poetry, art and photography, and covering a wide variety of topics.
