In the Christian world, the week leading up to Easter is called "The Holy Week", mirroring the events of the last week of the Savior. Elder Gary E Stevenson gave a call to all of us last year to think about how we celebrate Easter, is it as "happy" an event as Christmas?
We're taking this whole week to celebrate Easter, sharing with you teachings of Easter (death, resurrection, The Atonment of Christ, Gethsemane etc...)

Do we celebrate Easter like we celebrate Christmas? If you said not as much, then we're starting a new tradition to inspire you to start your own tradition for Easter.
The week that ends on Easter 3/31, at 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm, we'll be sharing with you inspiring messages of Easter, Jesus Christ, his Atonement and Resurrection, all central themes of the reason why we celebrate Easter.
Each day culminates in a masterful Conference address that talks of Jesus Christ.
Monday 3/24, Dave Cowan shares his recent experience of practicing for an Easter Sacrament musical number and the song Risen by Shawna Edwards.
Among the messages will be entries in the March 2024 For the Strength of Youth, whose theme is "Jesus Christ is my Strength" plus messages from Elder Holland, and Stevenson and Sister Camille Johnson.

This weekend, for the Best News in the Morning, the March 2024 Liahona has articles on appropriate media and technology use, both days at 8:30am. I had an experience of having to shut off the media I was consuming. For me 80's music is a safe choice for nostalgia, most of the time. So when a certain song came on by the Scorpions, sadly I knew what it was gonna talk about. So Im grateful you can tell Alexa to stop the stream.
When I had gotten dressed this morning, I came out to resume having some background listening while getting ready. The song on our station called "Return with Honor" from EFY 1995 came on, and the feeling between it and the Scorpions song was like night and day, where the first was completely devoid of the Spirit, the latter brought back that warm feeling.
If you feel the same way about our music, Im grateful that you are listening today and everyday!

Now til March 22nd, and after April 7th- Let's listen to all the words of wisdom given over the years from the President of the Quorum of the Twelve, Elder Jeffrey R Holland (10am, 1pm, 4pm)
March 24th-31st Easter Week- at 10am, 1pm, 4 and 7pm each day, a message about Easter, Jesus Christ, the Crucifixion or the Resurrection, in Celebration of Easter.
Monday 4/1-Friday 4/5- 10am, 1, 4, 7pm- learning about how to get the most out of General Conference, and various experiences from authors on what they gained, or how they changed their study or outlook on General Conference.

In 2nd Nephi 4 this week, Nephi says, "and upon these, I write the "Things of My Soul". Upon the plates, Nephi wrote what was of the most worth unto the children of men, and for you and me, since we would inherit their words thousands of years later.
So what are some things of your soul that you cherish and that you want others in the future to know? Where would you start with such a list?
Elder Ronald A. Rasband gave 7 examples of the things of his soul. They are:
1) Love the Father and the Son.
2) Love Thy Neighbor
3) Love Yourself
4) Keep the Commandments
5) Always be worthy to attend the temple
6) Be joyful and cheerful
7) Follow God's Living Prophet.
To my primary class this morning I added these two, since we learned about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon from Chapter 3.
1) Always strengthen your testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith
2) Read Study and Love the Book of Mormon.
Things of your soul, the things you do, things you love, things you honor.
And Nephi said, "And we did live after the manner of happiness." Why? Because of these things. They all fill us with the Holy Ghost, they all guide our path, they all give us strength.

Presidents Day is this Monday here in the United States. In their own right indirectly, President Washington and President Lincoln were influential on the destiny of the Church maintaining our country as free under God. Of course we remember them this Monday.
Our focus however is our current President of the Church and his counselors, all 3 with the title of President. We'll hear all their messages from the October 2023 General Conference this Monday, plus another President with whom these men work with closely, the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Elder Jeffrey R Holland.
10am- President Holland with his influential message addressing mental health, "Like a Broken Vessel" from October 2013.
1pm- President Eyring- Our Constant Companion
4pm- President Oaks- The Kingdoms of Glory
and lastly at 7pm- 2 timely messages from President Russell M Nelson, an excerpt from a May 2022 devotional called "Choices for Eternity" about your testimony and search for the Truth, plus his October 2023 address called, "Think Celestial".

In 2nd Nephi 3, a prophecy that Lehi has in the brass plates speaks of Joseph of Egypt testifying of another Joseph, even Joseph Smith the prophet of the restoration.
Such a blessed opportunity that this 14 year old boy had, to ask God the Father in prayer, coming in full faith, and recieving the witness of God and his son Jesus Christ.
Ask yourself this week: What do you know about our Heavenly Father and his Son because of what Joseph saw?
What do you have because of Joseph and the Restoration?
Where would you be if the Restoration had not happened?
