Producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Brian Allossery was born in Chatham, Ontario. Introduced to music at an early age, he picked up the guitar at age 8. Since then, his musical jour
ney has included studying guitar with Norman Pitts and Tom Lockwood, voice with Rosemary Barnes, Bill Graham, Stella Walker and Ben D'Cunha. As a graduate of the Humber College Jazz Guitar Program,
Brian has performed in a number of jazz, pop and rock bands, after gaining his experience in the Humber College big band and jazz ensembles. He played live and recorded with Traffic Jam, Dancehouse, Mad About Plaid (Winners of Ed McMahon's Star Search, 1990), Jello, Jeff Walker, The Lazy Poets and with well known Toronto trumpeter/vocalist J.V. Brian worked as a recording engineer for 10 years at Harlow Sound in Rexdale, Ontario. For the past 16 years, he has been running his own studio, Lazy Poets Studio, producing songs and albums for numerous artists, including Mary Hart-Brennan, Signe Miranda and his own band, Brian Allossery and The Lazy Poets. He works with the artists to get the right sound for their songs, bringing in session
musicians for some projects, including Bob Egan (Blue Rodeo), Cleave Anderson (The John Borra Band, The Screwed), Ray Coburn (Honeymoon Suite, Alannah Miles), Mario del Monte, Peter Nunn (Honeymoon Suite, Gowan, Andy Kim) and Creighton Doane (Melanie Doane). Recent albums produced by Brian, have been played on radio stations in Canada, Australia, the UK, New Zealand, the United States, Germany, Belarus, Macedonia, Columbia, Turkey, the Netherlands and Spain. “Crystal Ball”, from his self-produced album, Brian Allossery and The Lazy Poets: Everybody All Together”, received the “Suggested Artist Songwriting Award”in the 2010 Song of The Year international competition and “September Night”, which he produced for Signe Miranda's
