Come and join the Giddy Carousel of Poppers - and - in to celebrate 60 years since the King Mojo Club opened in a quiet residential area of the city. Over its short history it played host to gigs by and many more.
The Bay Horse was open at the time and is only a stone's throw from the site of the club.
Entrance is free but if you can bring something to donate to the local food bank that would be very much appreciated.

Slightly odd feeling seeing yourself in a Sunday paper. I'm described as "an ebullient enthusiast" which I think I'll get chiselled onto my headstone.
We both pulled a lot of daft faces in the photo shoot so I'm relieved they used one of my more restrained moments. Still can't believe they went with Chrissie Hynde on the front cover when they could have gone with me and Simon Galloway - but there you go.

This is our Jimmy The Hoover moment.
