The One A Day Multi + Immunity Defense multivitamin gummies are a step above any others I’ve taken over the years. First off, the gummies are very easy to chew without the strong chewy consistency that feels like it will pull your dental work off. Second, these gummy vitamins have such an amazing taste. There is no aftertaste whatsoever, which was a pleasant surprise. Each flavor has a light citrus note to go along with each gummy’s assigned flavor (which you are advised of by the shape of the gummy). The citrus note gives each flavor a bit of a zip without distorting the actual flavor. I was pleasantly surprised that the vitamins weren’t cloyingly sweet, as if they were more candy than vitamin. Third, these One A Day Multi + Immunity Defense multivitamins have no additional sweeteners added (natural or otherwise). And the fourth point is that One A Day boosted the amounts of vitamins D, A, C, and E, as well as Selenium and Zinc to help fortify our natural immunity defenses.

I received these products for free from Influenster and Neostrata in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Neostrata Ultra Brightening Cleanser is meant to exfoliate and help target uneven skin tone. I was so excited to try this cleanser, but found that it didn’t do anything for my skin tone. Also, I was expecting the cleanser to have some grit since it is reported to be an exfoliant. The cleanser isn’t gritty at all, so maybe the exfoliating properties come from what is in the cleanser. I will say that this cleanser is quite gentle and leaves my skin smooth and supple. Overall, I do like this cleanser. I was won over by how my skin looks and feels after every use. Me being comfortable after a face wash rarely happens, but Neostrata doesn’t leave my skin tight or burning.

The Daily Brightening Concentrate Serum from the Neostrata Enlighten line has 15% Vitamin C, plus PHA and burns my little face like nobody’s business. My overly sensitive skin is not a huge fan of this serum, but a hydrating moisturizer takes away the burn. This serum targets uneven skin tone as well as dark spots, but I didn’t see any change to either while I used this product. This is not a serum that I could recommend to others who have sensitive skin.

I received these products for free from Influenster and Haus Labs by Lady Gaga in exchange for my honest review.

Their PHD Hybrid Lip Oil in Tint looks like a shade that will turn your lips bright pink. However, it has just a slight tint to it that doesn’t really look different on the lips. I do like the hydration that this lip oil gives. The PHD Hybrid Lip Oil is very comfortable, but it isn’t meant to be layered on top of other lip products as color will be lifted.

Le-Monster lip crayon in Peach Matte is a dirty brown matte lip color with a hint of peach to it. The lip crayon is creamy upon application, but dries down to a very comfortable matte lip. The packing is stunning with its sleek design. I’m more impressed with this lip crayon than I thought I would be. Easy application and wears beautifully.

The Hi-Power Pigment Paint in Blush Matte is a very beautiful n**e shade. When swatching it looks more peach, but upon application it is a beautiful n**e with a touch of peach. While I’m not a huge fan of peach blush, this neutral shade is stunning on the cheek. I did find that the blush doesn’t spread well with a finger application as it dries rather quickly. However, a brush worked beautifully and I was able to diffuse the color without any splotches.

I am not a huge fan of gold highlighters, so I was quite terrified by the shade of Golden Pyrite. The Bio Radiant Gel Powder highlighter applies seamlessly and buffs out beautifully. While the highlighter looks like dark gold in the pan, the shade is so light that I am comfortable wearing this highlighter.

The Power Sculpt Velvet bronzer is one of the nicest bronzers I have ever used. I received the shade Light Level 4, which looks quite dark but is a light warm brown that is buildable. The bronzer buffs out beautifully and doesn’t pick up excess powder on the brush.

I received these products for free from Influenster and Smuckers in exchange for my honest review. I really like the new Smuckers Natural fruit spread, which is made with natural products. I received Blueberry and Red Tart Cherry. I’m not a huge fan of blueberry, but was completely stoked to try the Red Rart Cherry. The new Smuckers Natural Blueberry Spread has a natural sweetness from the blueberries that wasn't overpowering, making it a blueberry spread that I really like. As for the Red Tart Cherry Smuckers Natural spread is very lovely, but wasn’t overly tart or sweet. I love a really tart jelly so was somewhat letdown, but it didn’t change my thoughts on the nice spread. nside the spread is full sized blueberries and cherries, The blueberries flattened out upon biting down a n them, making them edible and the cherries flattened out when spread onto the toast. I first thought the spreads were more gel-like. However, It is more firm than a jam, but not as solid as a jelly. It is an interesting texture and as a person who eats by texture, I really enjoy the texture of the new Smuckers Natural spread. Overall, I like the new Smuckers Natural fruit spreads. They aren’t overly sweet but has a gentle sweetness that makes it simply nice.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Laura Mercier in return for my honest review. My bottle of the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Spray 16 hr that I received had a faulty spray nozzle. Putting that aside, I found the setting spray to be quite unfortunate as what was deposited on my face was lightweight and not tight or itchy.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Rubbermaid in exchange for my honest review.

The 9x13 Rubbermaid DuraLite Glass Baking Dish with Lid is absolutely stunning. The cream colored baking dish is oval shaped with a beautiful scalloped side. While the presentation of the dish is amazing I found a couple of issues with this dish and lid set. First off the lid doesn’t fit snug with the dish. There is looseness on the minimum sides of the oval. Also, I found that the scalloped sides made it very difficult to lift from a very hot stove. So much so, I almost dropped the dish when bringing it out of the oven. Presentation is beautiful and I will use it in the future with items I don’t have to bake in order to minimize the risk of burning myself or dropping the dish.

I am absolutely in love with OPI’s Infinite Shine You Had Me at Halo. An Ulta exclusive, this micro-glitter bomb is fully opaque in two coats. A gorgeous blue-purple (blurple) is very eye catching and absolutely beautiful. With one coat You Had Me At Halo makes a beautiful topper as shown on Alpine Snow and To Be Continued. Truly gorgeous!

Strawberry Margarita is such a fun spring color that is juicy. This matte pink is a warm shade and very inviting. It is somewhat muted which makes it perfect for this time of year. Completely opaque in one coat, which makes me very happy.

A true White is such a hard shade to find but OPI Infinite Shine Alpine Snow is that beautiful crisp and cool white that I’m always looking for. The polish is streaky with one coat, but fully opaque at two. Perfect base for shimmery top coats or on its own. One drawback to my bottle of Alpine Snow is that is smells of house paint, which is hard to overlook. Second picture is OPI Infinite Shine Pixel Dust and You Had Me At Halo on top of Alpine Snow.

Received these four hair care items from Influenster and Zotos Professional in return for my honest review. Unfortunately, none of the products worked overly well with my hair. Must of them left my hair dry as can be and frizzy. I was very disappointed because I wanted it to work. But I’m thankful for the opportunity to try these hair products.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Completely Bare in exchange for my honest review. I’m an old lady so I’ve tried many hair removal strategies over the years. Completely Bare Easy Off, unfortunately, didn’t remove the man hair on my legs, but I will say this. My legs weren’t burned to a crisp afterwards due to harsh chemicals and that is a HUGE plus in my book. I think those who have finer hair than me will have better results.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Advil in exchange for my honest review. I found the non-drowsy Advil Sinus Congestion & Pain tablets to work great at clearing up my stuffy nose and stop me from some serious sneezing. A day later, I felt so much better. The only thing it didn’t help with is the headache from the sinus pressure. In fact, my headache got worse as my sinus symptoms diminished, hence the missing star. But maybe my congestion masked an average headache and it came to the forefront as my cold symptoms decreased. I don’t know. I just know that my headache got much worse as my multiple day symptoms decreased from what I figured was just a cold trying to start but never really grew legs.

As far as the non-drowsy claim….THAT’S AN ACTUAL FACT! I quit buying non-drowsy medication years ago because they made me sleep longer than regular sleep inducing medication. So I went into taking this non-drowsy medication very skeptical, expecting to be asleep soon after. I even prepared myself for bed at 2pm I was that convinced. Nope. Not even a yawn came out of me until it was my actual bedtime. While I usually take “severe” cold and sinus relief medication, this Advil Sinus Congestion & Pain works just as well as my old tried and true.

What I liked best is there is more caramel and just a small amount of small pretzel pieces. It was a perfect balance…. for me. All covered in milk chocolate. So good.

My September glam bag unbagging video is live. Never has Ipsy failed me so bad as this bag. Three items: Bronzilla, golden (it’s more orange than gold) highlighter, and a BB Glow tinted moisturizer are totally off from my beauty profile. I’m excited to try my new skincare items from Goldfadden MD and The other three, well they will be passed on to someone who can truly use them. Best thing from my bag this month… the bag.

Made a beautiful look using and While I’ve never been a huge fan of the items I’ve used by Physicians Formula, I was blown away by the mini Murumuru bronzer, blush, and highlight that has sat in my drawer FOREVER but never used. Now that I’ve tried all three, I’m blown away at how amazing they performed. They were all easy to blend and build up, but continue to look completely natural on the skin. As for the Space Case Cosmetics quad, I don’t know how long I’ve had this quad in my collection, but WOWZA! I used all four shadows and while one didn’t perform well I believe that’s because it had dried out because it’s consistency was totally different than the other three. But man did these shadows look beautiful on the eye. I love my look and I’m happy I played with these products. Are there any products that you have and have never used or haven’t used lately? Dip in? Try them out. You might just find your new favs.

I am an eyeliner ju**ie, owning close to 50 liners ranging from $1 liners to high end. One of my favorite eyeliners is the Tattoo Studio. These liners are rich in pigment so the shade you pick out is true to its name. They also are sweat proof and smudge proof. They wear beautifully on the water line. They also tight line without smearing down your face, which I am not a fan of (really, who is?). But my biggest pet peeve is liners that migrate when you wear them on your upper or lower lash line. The Maybelline Tattoo Studio does not move once you lay it down. In fact, it isn’t moving until you take an eye makeup remover to the liner to break it down. It is that locked in all day long.

I have this liner in Deep Teal which is such a rich darker teal. No matter how i wear this shade my blue eyes just pop and look intense.

I love a lot of my eyeliners, but only a couple other brands that I own can be worn on the lash line, in the water line, or tight lined and not budge in any spot. A total winner in my book. Low price, high pigmentation, long wearing, and smudge proof.

I am a huge fan of , especially their perfumes. Over the years I have owned many of their scents, so when they released this scent last year, I snagged it immediately. While I won’t say that was a really dumb move on my part, because in the grand scheme of things I do love their Beach Lavender Lemon Perfume, it just wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. This scent comes out of the gate guns a blazin’ with a really strong citrus scent mixed with a heavy presence of lavender. Now I like lavender and I really like lemon, but the ration between lavender to lemon is really off making the scent somewhat cloying. As it wears down the scent profile turns more to that of a lemon sugar cookie than a beachy sunscreen, sand between your toes, hot summer sun kissing your skin kind of scent, which makes it hard for me to understand why the word beach is in the name. As with all Pacifica fragrances, its staying power just isn’t there, which I will be quite frank, isn’t a downside when it comes to the Beach Lavender Lemon perfume. Even though the lemon is quite present at the beginning, somewhat in the middle, and softly at the end, it is more lavender based than anything. While I haven’t tried it at bedtime to help me relax and sleep, I wonder if it would work. Have any of you tried it for relaxation? And if so, did it work? Also, what do you think of Pacifica’s Beach Lavender Lemon perfume and do you find the name to suit the scent?

It IS all good! At least, that’s what I think. When Colourpop released the Its All Good palette last year, I had to pick it up because of the name alone. What a positive message to spread throughout the world. Sometimes I am prone to look at just the negative when there is so much good around me. Even during these trying times in life, we can still find good if we just look. Hey Lori! What does this have to do with makeup? Well, thank you for asking. Sometimes when we find ourselves just looking at the hard, the unfair, the difficult, do something you love. Me. That is applying makeup. And the It’s All Good and Coast to Coral palettes by are great examples of great quality items that is something small yet can bring us great joy. This isn’t a fancy look or one that could wow the masses, but I am in love with this look, especially the peachy pink shade. So just remember, things are good, even if that are overwhelming, hard, heartbreaking, maddening, frustrating, or simply dumb. There is still something in life that can bring some good to you. And if you are blessed t look at a glass half full, I salute you.

I received these products for free from Influenster and Yardley London in exchange for my honest review. As long as I can remember Yardley soap has been part of my life. These moisturizing bath bars come in a variety of scents and can be found at most retail stores, including your local dollar store. While the price of Yardley’s is low the hydrating properties are high. These soaps are chock full of Shea butter, aloe, and vitamin E, leaving your skin soft and supple. During these times of excessive hand washing, I’ve really appreciated having Yardley soap in my home. I am confident that my hands are clean yet my skin is not cracked and bleeding. For me, Yardley’s is the OG of soaps and they still got it!

Sometimes you just need to shake things up. I was tired of looking at my gray. Don’t get me wrong, I love my gray, but I just needed a little something to brighten my world. Thank you for making Blue Steel, Hot Hot Pink, and Violet Night to give me this multi-colored mop on my head. And just FYI: those light colored spots that look like my gray didn’t take (photo 2 I think) ... that is the blue steel shade. It is a beautiful light blue gray shade that I’m head over heels in love with. I had zero problem with the color not adhering to my gray. So if@you have gray and you want to play, Manic Panic worked great (because I have more salt than pepper).

Will I keep the this way? I don’t know. Since it’s a semi-permanent hair color I will revisit the idea in a couple months. Only time will tell, but this old lady is finding it fun to be daring again.

I own a lot of Polish, so for me to say that i even have a favorite is crazy! But to say a PINK Polish is one of my all time favorites, that truly says a lot. Precisely Pinkish is a neon satin to matte creme. While some may say this is a matte, there is a slight sheen to this creme polish which makes me categorize it as a satin finish. There is no glitter, shimmer, holographic, etc., in this polish. It’s your solid neon pink creme without any bells and whistles, because, lets be real....this shade doesn’t need any type of frivolity to stand on its own. It reminds me a little of a flamingo pink, which is really bright and flamboyant. It truly is a beautiful shade that is fully opaque in two coats and doesn’t disappoint in the “look at me” category. Is Neon pink your thing? Check out Precisely Pinkish... it is lovely.

A beautiful pinky n**e matte lipstick that goes on smoothly with no tugging? Yes, please. Sign me up! Let me introduce to you, Cosmic, which is described as a Rosy Pink. On me, it wears in the medium shade range, which checks off all the boxes for me... shade wise. The Illamasqua Antimatter Lipstick is very comfortable. I didn’t have it in long enough to see how long it would wear, but for someone who doesn’t like a matte formula, you would never know that the Antimatter lipstick is actually a cream. ✔️☑️!

I love having plants. Sometimes I love them so much I kill them!They can lighten a mood and just warm your heart when you see them. Sometimes we have long conversations about different topics (and I don’t always pick the topic!). These kiddos are my oldest. I’ve had all of them for over a year. Due to unfortunate circumstances, i am slowly rebuilding my plant family. I love using Miracle-Gro soil AND food in order to give my little plant children the best opportunity to thrive and be successful. The price is decent so you can afford to repot your plants as needed. There is a nice balance of soil with fertilizer to give your babies some feeding upon repotting. While they make moisture control potting soil now, I like the original the best because that makes me responsible for their success and engaged in making sure my plants are healthy and alive. I’ve used Miracle Gro since the 90s and my parents used it for many years prior. Miracle-Gro has never failed me, but I’ve definitely let my plants down on accident.

Essie released an Ulta exclusive Spring 2021 Spring Hues nail polish collection. Each shade was based on the theme of colors from a tranquil desert day spa retreat. There were six shades initially released at Ulta; Get Oasis, Cacti in the Prize, Retreat Yourself, Light as Linen, You Know the Espadrille, and Infinity Cool. To be honest, I missed out on the shade I really wanted which was like a beautiful marigold shade, so I picked up Get Oasis and Infinity Cool. Get Oasis is described by Essie as a “fresh, airy white pearl nail polish with a hint of warmth”. While this was not my typical choice of nail shade, I am so glad I picked it up. It has a freshness to the tone that I don’t usually find in lighter off-white nail polish. The pearl sheen gives your hands a healthy glow that really helps pull off the spring shade. It is fully opaque in three coats, but I did find that it had difficulty drying down. I do appreciate the wider paddle brushes of Essie, so if you’re a brush snob like me, just thought you’d like to know. While Ulta is only down to three shades left, Essie’s website still has all six shades available. Each bottle is $9 on both sites. (Accent nail not part of collection)

I love perfume. Well, that really is an understatement. I adore everything fragrance and at this time of year I love to pull out Daisy. It is sweet, it is tart. There is something almost green in this scent, but all of those components work beautifully with the soft floral that runs throughout. While it is an eau de toilette you would never know as its longevity is quite nice. Perfect scent for the office or a day out at the shops (some day, right?). It took me years to actually like Daisy and now it is like my reintroduction to Spring. While I do wear it spring through fall, it is really that reminder of new life.

Daisys notes are as follows:
Fresh violet leaf, wild berries, blood grapefruit, strawberries, white violet, gardenia, jasmine, sandalwood, musk

You can find Daisy at most stores where perfume is sold, as well as discounted stores.

I received the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette from Ipsy in their Glam Bag X box. I am very impressed with this palette. Highly pigmented. Blends beautifully. With four different textures (matte, metallic, wet/dry, and pearl) you would think there would be competition between the shadows. But all of these shades work wonderfully together. Black Truffle is a stunning solid black matte eyeshadow with zero fading or ashiness. I would feel like this palette is complete and cohesive if there was a light shade such as ivory or n**e, but more important a dark brown, burgundy , or maybe a dark purple to bridge the gap between Coco, a medium brown, and Black Truffle. There is too much of a gap between the darkest and the second darkest that you must grab another palette to try and give your look some depth. You can pick up this beauty at Sephora for $65.

I Really like this body wash. It is very hydrating, Lathers beautifully and it Smells great without being overpowering, which I appreciate. While I received this as a gift, I could never justify purchasing the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream Gel only because it is so expensive and I can purchase a drug store body wash just as hydrating (yes, I won’t find this amazing scent in a drugstore wash, but I’ll survive). If you have the disposable income and need a nourishing body wash, check out this gel wash. Great formula!
