It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything! Sorry guys, I went through a bit of soul searching and now I am back and fully energized! I have written some really nice poems during my break and I hope you have to. Just to pop things off with a bang, here is a snipped of the last poem I performed called “My Hair.” It is important to me because it’s me showing respect to my natural self. It’s me telling a story of a traumatic experience and then making peace with it. It’s about me loving my crown. ✊🏾 Today I encourage you to write about your self confidence. Have you been through something that you thought would break you but you bounced back stronger than ever? If so, write about it and share it with us! We all have a story. Why not tell it?
