“When did the future switch from being a promise to being a threat?” Things are running so fast, to nowhere. It looks like mankind has realised that any effort to find a reason to justify its own existence is actually useless. At the end we finally gave up, seeing ourself as monsters rather than the amazing creatures designed to rule the universe. Our evolution, that we can definitely assume to be

an involutionary process, turned the human kind being into a condition where the race probably got to the maximum of the biological possibilities. Is it possible that the next step will involve creatures whose basic capacities so radically exceed those of present humans as to be no longer unambiguously human by our current standards? Probably those entities will be able to "become" or embody different identities and understand the world from multiple, heterogeneous perspectives reaching the “post human condition” while seeking to maintain intellectual rigor and a dedication to objective observations. Mankind’s hunger for keeping the evolution of techniques and tools vivid and alive brought our kind to struggle to feed itself of artificialism, spoiling biodiversity and setting itself as a black hole which swallows everything. The act of digesting creates nothing but toxicity that keeps on spoiling our planet and the life forms which populate it. Even when the balance was found, mankind kept growing, expanding and evolving, reaching a condition which is distant to the natural feelings of our race. Hypothetically, we’re trying to ascend to an higher plane of existence in order to have a better control of the Earth and its happenings, despite the harsh fact that life has became harder for most of the animated beings which populate it, even for humans themselves. As humans are conscious entities, surviving isn't enough, as our needs push us to make the most of our own psycho/physic resources in order to shape our own vision of things on a satisfactory base. This allows us to feel in peace and harmony with our surrounding world. Besides the fact that more and more people all over the world have to struggle in order to ensure their own existence, a constantly decreasing number of people are able to focus on the happiness, having no direction to follow. The balance which ruled existence got lost and probably the time for a radical change for our little corner of the universe is getting closer and closer. A natural flux of renewed energy will come to set up a new order and renew the existence cycle over our planet.
“The end was contained in the beginning”, all we can do at this point is just to wait for the advent of the new cycle, wait for the advent of the MONOLITH to set the new order.

"'Shaping Black Forms' unveils a work about pure introspection, a self-reflection shaped within the most profound depths of consciousness. The four original cuts aim to initiate and nourish a ritual capable of carrying the listener through various states of introspective trance inducted by the mechanical relentlessness of pulsating techno structures dived into obscure and alienating ambiences pictured into ominous atmospheres; Ken Karter's interpretation adds his mastercraft to the field of techno with an ultimate dancefloor weapon that expands and elevates the journey to hit even harder.
This work aims to highlight the importance of diving deep into the abyss of perception as a process of self-discovery and confrontation at the same time. It's necessary to be able to embrace the entirety of the self, accepting the dark sides as much as the bright ones in order to truly find one's self and be able to experience a truly full existence.
It's a morphing process that eventually ends up shaping a new improved self, which is able to reject the tools of mass distraction provided by technocratic societies that promote 'uniformity' 'comfort' at any cost, but the cost of loosing one's true self is something that nobody can really afford. No one would be willing to trade the entirety of their true self for such trivialities, if they would ever had the chance to experience it at all.

"For the 10th instalment of the Monolith Deaf Souls series, 'KrankerWeg' marks the debut of 'K0DEBREAKER', side project of Ken Karter, artist and militant audio engineer guru whose contribution was fundamental to shape and develop the sound of Monolith Records since the earliest stages, and Sirio Gry J, founder of the platform. The combination of Ken's mathematical austerities with Sirio's eclecticism, allows new ways to detonate in erratic collisions that characterise the practice and cadency of the code-breaking process. This EP is an ode to sickness intended as a non-compliant attitude to escape feeding the algorithmic optimization of social engineering practices. Krankerweg grinds faster than the speed of thought, hits even harder, and it is colder than liquid nitrogen. The four original cuts are sonic monstrosities that push to enlarge and enrich an imaginary brewed up from visions that aim to conceive and explore fresh sonic settings drown into the darkest synthetic dystopia. An essentially linear process that aims to deconstruct the code upon which hegemonies are established and maintained, degrading the difference as a lesser worthy ingredient of the whole compound. The importance of empowering variance as a prominent feature of resourcefulness is also evidenced by (epi)genetics theories and evolutionary mechanisms. Variability in perception, as much as in action, can be remarked even when external conditions such as sensory inputs or task goals are maintained as constant as possible, and it is an observable at the neuronal level too. Human perception accounts on molecules hitting certain receptors at random rates owing to diffusion, and such variance originates from the receptor proteins that are limited in their ability to accurately count the exact number of signalling molecules; the input energy gets converted into a chemical or mechanical signal, later to be amplified and converted into an electrical impulse, necessarily contaminated by pre-existing noise generated during the amplification process, along with the intrinsic noise of the external context. Within this process, any noise trace sets a perceptual threshold for later stages of the information processing operation, and the input signals that are weaker than the noise itself cannot be distinguished from it after amplification. This natural constant inequality in the data-processing unhinges ultimately the prospect of defining a unique, right-for-all way to follow, and suggests instead to embrace the differentiation as the only key to thrive in perspective of the infinity of the human mind."

"Dominik Müller lands on Monolith Records with 'Insidious Innocence', a Monolithic 3 tracks EP (plus Sirio Gry J Remix) as solid as the rock on the artwork which is a rightfully emblematic stone coal extracted from 1 Km depth in a mine of his homeland, Upper Silesia, charged with the higher purpose of matching the unique style to this high quality work. Herr Müller, long standing dj/producer, live performer and sound engineer in the dark/industrial techno scene is relentlessly delivering top quality cuts since early 2000s, uncompromised through various active to date monikers, such as Beauten O.S., and Uncto (together with Rafal Fürst ) among others, and managing Furanum Records, an important HQ label project, reference for the genre since more than 15 years.
With this challenging work, the creator is exploring a more introspective approach aiming to find new shapes, seeking revenge towards a scene that consumes everything and betrays true passion by crafting harsher sounds serving a more purely industrial perspective. Just like mankind's choices led to a society of greed and suffering for the most, the music scene follows the same annihilating motion: behind the shiny masks of social media, lies and propaganda proliferate endlessly as the industry demands and pushes towards the rush of consumption, standing against any possibly truly artistic output, considering creativity dangerous for the artificially established Status Quo, radically inconsistent, but able to saturate the channels. Unstoppable marketing machines are engineering media to replace artists with almost-artificial or nevertheless fictional characters behind the booths, who carry neither a message nor mission, conveniently lacking commitment to themselves, and ending up being the perfect actors to comply with the market demands without risking to tamper with the hegemonies. Dominik's commitment instead craves a New Path towards a new light, the urge to explore new territories and evolve his sound tradition leads to this glorious work which is a bridge towards a future where self-development and expression are still the main values of a truly passionate musician."

" is a solid music narration, a compact array of physical and mental mechanisms sorted in a perpetual connection. Compared to his previous works, here the noise is not only functional to define a style, but it also represents symbolically the incessant cerebral activity flooded by information and bewildered by uncertainty. Harmonic elements are left aside, to highlight more the relentless rhythmic assault through synthesis and subtraction. Gears are grinding to the rhythm of thought: a continuous mutual chase of fears and pauses to see the concepts taking shape becoming reality. Underlying impatience and claustrophobia characterize 'Deadpoint’ where the rhythmic impulses free the body that is able to move and break out of the cage in which it is forced.
The anguish of distance from life is transformed into a robust, dynamic and deliberately obsessive rhythmic component. Air blends into the soundscapes creating glimpses and fractures in seeking light; a deliberate, sought and found reaction to indolence. The music is active action, it is movement, a catharsis to free the soul from the chains of time; a time that has forced to look inside ourselves without knowing what we would find with technology being both the cross and the delight of this suspended time of absence.
Loaded with reminiscences from techno, darkwave, experimental electronics such as power noise and dark ambient, the work is complex and elegant, consistent without any allowance to drama, regardless the darkness permeating every track. Produced with the wisdom of a long-standing alchemist in search of the ultimate balance, like a circle or a sphere, emblems of perfection, this album opens and closes with more meditative and sober tracks, cadenced to welcome and leave the listener in a state of restless tension.'
