"Taboo" tells the story of Detroit's most famous nightclub. From 1985-95, Nino's Club Taboo (east riverfront area between RenCen and Stroh River Place) drew Prince, Madonna, James Brown, Sheila E., Vanessa Williams, Grace Jones, Wilson Pickett, Joe Cocker, and so many more. Nino also had Intermezzo, Metropolitan Musicafe, and today Bella Piatti and Mare in downtown Birmingham.
