Currently reading When The Body Says No by Gabor Maté.I’ve had this conversation so many times this past week about setting boundaries and the physical toll people pleasing has on the body. What’s the line between selfish and self worth? For me personally I have found that my inability to say no and be honest in the moment out of a fear of disappointing others has led to more disappointment in the future. I respect people more when I respect myself, and those are who are resistant to the boundaries that I need to hold are just not people I should be around in this time of my transition. Not bad or good people, just not compatible with this phase.#peoplepleaser #manifestation #boundaries
