90 days?!? How is this allowed?!? Repost from Horrific new numbers after 90 days of genocide. Over 12,000 children now killed in Gaza. Source:

Some Facts:

In 90 days, Israel has dropped nearly 30,000 bombs on Gaza: one of the most densely-populated places on Earth where half of the population is under 18 years old. Most of these bombs are funded by American taxpayer dollars. 1 child in Gaza is being killed by Israel every 10 minutes. Another is injured. 12,000+ kids have been killed in 90 days; over 30,000 overall. 1.9 million people have been displaced from their homes.

Channel your anger and sadness into prayer and action. We cannot rest until this genocide ends. We cannot rest until the Palestinian children can get a full night of uninterrupted rest.

There are many things we can be doing to help Palestine. Apart from appealing to God for Divine Help and protesting in the streets, it is absolutely critical to pressure your elected officials. 70% of Americans support a ceasefire but only 12% of Congress. We need millions of phone calls and emails and dollars mobilized to pressure these lawmakers. 🇵🇸

50% of all proceeds from sales on our website have AND will continue to be donated to PCRF. To be honest in the last 2+ months I couldn’t bring myself to post anything that even remotely marketed my products. It didn’t feel right. But as a consumer who has been on a mission to purchase from companies that only support Pa1i I find myself turning away from companies that didn’t specifically say they were donating money, even though they were posting about Pa1i. So this is my PSA as a mother to 2 Pa1i children I will continue to do what I can to donate and bring awareness to this cause that is close to my heart and family. Swipe for transparency. 🇵🇸 🇵🇸

50% of all proceeds from sales on our website have AND will continue to be donated to PCRF. Play doh + our Arabic Board Books = sensory fun! There are so many ways to incorporate with our board books. Here are some ideas:

•trace the letters or numbers in our Arabic Alphabet board book with slim pieces of play-doh

•have children place small pieces of the play-doh on the areas you are talking about. For example: (where is the horse? اين الحصان)

•use pieces of play-doh to count the numbers in our Arabic Numbers, Shapes and Colors board book together. Place a piece on each item as you count together

What other ways does your little enjoy using play-doh with our books? Even just letting them squish it in their hands while you teach them can help regulate their brain which in turn helps them retain information and enjoy learning!

•I was so excited to fill this shelf with Ramadan related books for this month! Tasneem asked me where her flap books went when she saw this haha. They are all tucked neatly in the other bookshelf. But for this month, I wanted these to stand out. So here’s our growing list. I think for this year I’ve purchased most of the ones that I had on my list for the girls but hopefully we can get a few more great ones still on the wishlist. I tried placing the board books on the bottom for easy access so Jenna is able to reach. So fare these are all wonderful and we are working through a new one daily and rereading the one from the previous day to keep the spirit of Ramadan going! So here’s our List:

Who else is already exhausted from the idea of managing kids while fasting 😣🙋🏽‍♀️ what to know the secret to making your day easier? Give your littles a sensory experience! It helps regulate their brain (and yours too). We LOVE using play-doh with our board books. It’s a great way to connect with them during the day and teach them at the same time. (It’s also great for just giving them something to do while you take a nap, no judgment here!) A win win for everyone! Have you tried this yet?

Day 3 |  وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ  مَآءً ثَجَّاجًا
'And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water.' (An-Naba: 14)

I introduced the boys to 3 main types of clouds; cirrus, cumulus and stratus.  After understanding the characteristics and replicating some clouds with cotton balls, we went cloud spotting 🙂. Symbols on cloud spotters represent the 3 types of clouds.

We read books by and to increase our Arabic vocabulary. Then finished up some letter recognition and learning this dua:

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا O Allah, make it a beneficial rain

The word ٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِ  (rain clouds) comes from the root ع ص ر (yasara). For native Arabic speakers the words عصير (juice) or عصر (squeeze) may sound familiar. I used a little imagery to explain this to Yaseen. When Allah speaks about these rain clouds it's as if He is presenting them as squeezable clouds ready to nourish His creation.

I grew up using the word غيم for clouds. But in the Qu'ran you'll also find سَحَاب and الْغَمَامِ. Can anyone add to this?
