Since the age of six, Christophe Lafontant has experienced two heart transplants, a kidney transplant, respiratory failure, drug addiction, and depression, but he always manages to come out on top, feeling positive about life while sharing his story with the world.

We’re excited to announce that one of the segments we produced for EdibleFX has won a Telly Award! We’ve had a blast producing all of the amazing EdibleFX content on YouTube. Check out the channel to see all of the crazy and beautiful food creations made for Stranger Things, Interview With a Vampire, Shameless, Claws, and more!

EdibleFX gives a behind the scenes look at creating edible food props for TV and Film. The segment that won a Telly Award is all about creating different types of ice cream for set. The style of ice cream shown was used in the Obama segments of The First Lady on Showtime. Watch the full segment here:

We worked with The Anna Maria Historical Society again to produce this fantastic interview between Elizabeth Hager and Grace Wadford who is a 101 year old resident of Anna Maria Island. Grace started visiting Anna Maria Island with her husband Bubba in 1949 and she moved to the island year round in 1999.

Next week is an exciting week for Sugar Beach Digital and Christophe Lafontant! Our short documentary about Christophe’s inspirational life will be showing at film festivals in Florida and New Jersey. We’re very proud of the short and are currently working on the feature length documentary focusing on Myofibrillar Myopathy.

The film is showing at the Ridgewood Guild International Film Festival on Thursday, April 28th at 8:25pm. Then Christophe will participate in a Q&A after the showing. Don’t miss it!

The film is showing at the Fort Myers Beach International Film Festival on Friday, April 29th at 3pm during the Short Documentary Block.

🎉 We’re celebrating 8 years in business! It’s been a memorable eight years working with truly amazing people on all types of productions across the country. We’ve had the opportunity to work on great projects in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Georgia and premiere in film festivals on the east and west coasts of the United States.
We cannot thank everyone that we’ve worked with enough for joining us on our journey and we look forward to a lot of exciting projects in the future - some that we’ll be revealing very soon! So stay tuned!

It was an amazing Tampa premiere at Westshore for as part of . The audience reaction was fantastic! Christophe could feel the love in the room from everyone watching his inspirational life story.

After the premiere of at we started production of the feature length version. We interviewed Christophe and some of his family members while they were in Tampa for the festival. Our short documentary It Started With The Heart premieres at two film festivals next week - Culver City Film Festival and Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival.

We encourage everyone in the LA or Tampa Bay area to check out the film. Christophe's life story is inspirational and you'll be amazed at what he has gone through in life and how he has remained positive through it all.

You can also donate toward the feature length version of the documentary, which will go more in depth into Christophe's life as well as speak with more people that have been there throughout his inspirational journey.
