NEW EPISODE ALERT! Happy New Year from the Sunday Morning Coffee Podcast!

Dave Albin is the #1 Firewalk Instructor in America. Firewalking is a 1,000 year old rite of passage ritual where you literally walk across hot burning coals.

Having worked for Tony Robbins for 19+ years and starting Firewalk Productions in 2014, Dave has firewalked hundreds of thousands of people. He and Tony Robbins set a World Record in London in 2005 walking over 12,300 people.

Dave and I discuss his early life, his struggles with addiction, his friend's fateful call that led Dave to go see Tony Robbins and doing his first firewalk which then led to Dave working for Tony Robbins, starting his own firewalking business, his charitable work, and more!

In this powerful episode, Scott speaks with Moises Goldman and Sherry Maysonave, the author that helped Moises tell his mother's story in the powerful book Tatae's Promise. We spoke about Hinda's life in the ghetto in Poland, her father's murder at the hands of the N***s, Hinda's time in Auschwitz, her incredible escape with her younger sister, her life after the war, and of course, recording the tapes that told her incredible story that ended up in the writing of Tatae's Promise.

Just finishing up the editing for this week's episode. Given the current events of the last week or so, this episode has an impoirtance that goes beyond just remembering the past. It's about making sure we don't repeat history by letting the stories of the people from the past be told today. I hope you'll tune in for this powerful story.

We spoke at length about her career working with dangerous inmates in prison, PTSD, setting boundaries with friends and family, teaching yourself how to look at the benefits of something outweighing the sometimes inconvenient steps it takes to get there, and much more.
