This program takes a look at the K-28 100th Anniversary Photo Special on the Durango & Silverton in October of 2023. The 2-day excursion featured locomotives #473 and #476 pulling a mixed train to Silverton, with #476 as a mid-train helper on the first day. We'll also cover a couple of K-28 doubleheaders on the regular excursion to Silverton, plus the 2022 Fall Photo Train with #476. The last part of the program looks at #476 on the Cascade Canyon Winter Train back in February of 2019.

This program takes a look at the second season of excursions with Reading & Northern 4-8-4 #2102. It covers all 3 Autumn Leaf Excursions in October of 2023, plus the August 13th Iron Horse Ramble from North Reading to Jim Thorpe. The last trip of the year (October 21st) is covered with a mix of footage from in-cab and locomotive mounted cameras, in addition to the usual trackside runby's.

This full-length video covers two 50th anniversary photo specials on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. The first in August of 2018 commemorated the last D&RGW freights over Cumbres Pass using 2 of the K-36 locomotives, including a 2 engine freight from Chama to Cumbres and a doubleheader from Antonito to Cumbres. The second special took place in October of 2022 and celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Toltec Rattler: the first ever photo freight on the C&TS. You'll see 2 days of action with locomotive #484, right after the first major snow of the season.

The 3rd volume of "Return of the Iron Horse Rambles" chronicles the last 2 excursions of 2022 and features extensive footage filmed inside 2102's cab. It begins with the October 29th Autumn Leaf Excursion, which saw 2102 slip over and over again on the tough 1.4% grade north of Tamaqua in the morning. We'll cover the spectacular action in both directions with a mix of trackside and in-cab footage. You'll also see the final Autumn Leaf Excursion on November 6th, as 2102 again put on an impressive show on the steep grades of the Reading & Northern mainline. This segment also features footage from cameras mounted on the locomotive and in the cab.

This is the first volume in a multi-volume series on Reading & Northern 4-8-4 #2102. The program begins with the two freight trains the '02 pulled in the spring, prior to entering excursion service. It starts with the 50-car coal train on April 26th, followed by the 100-car coal train on May 20th. Then we'll cover the first Iron Horse Ramble excursion on May 28th and the second Ramble on July 2nd.

This 2-disc program looks at steam operations on the Durango & Silverton during the summer, fall, and winter of 2021 with a focus on the many doubleheaded trains to Silverton. It features doubleheaders with K-28 #473 as the helper assisting either K-36 #480 or K-37 #493. It also has an extended segment focusing on visiting Southern Pacific 4-6-0 #18 as the helper engine. In addition to the doubleheaders, there's coverage of the steam-powered Cascade Canyon Express, plus solo trips to Silverton with #480 and #493. There's also a brief look at the Fall Photo Train with SP 18 at the beginning of October. The final part of the program features coal burning K-36 #481 in late December on both the Cascade Canyon Winter Train and the short nightly Polar Express trips.

This program looks at steam on the Durango & Silverton during the winter of 2021-22. It features all 3 operable K-36 locomotives, beginning New Year's Eve with #480 on the Cascade Canyon train and #482 on a flanger run. Then you'll see #480 on the nightly Polar Express train, followed by the first 2 runs to Cascade in the New Year. We'll cover a couple of runs to Cascade in February with #482 before concluding with the 2-day Winter Photography Special at the end of the month featuring #481, likely the last operable coal burner on the railroad.
