Did you know that the origins of orange wine date back more than 4,500 years, to Georgia? Since then, the style has grown in popularity and nowadays, orange wines are made all over the world. Phipps client Gérard Bertrand makes five of them down in the south of France. #orangewines are made from white grapes that are vinified on their skins like a red wine, and they are great for food matches – a few of Phipps’ favourites are:

Incoming - the latest drink craze ☕
Move over dalgona coffee and make way for the latest coffee craze, already taking over TikTok feeds both here in the UK and the USA. Unlike the delicious treat that graced us in spring last year, the Proffee is targeted at fitness fanatics or for people looking to get more out of their morning coffee.
The Proffee combines iced coffee and (you guessed it) flavoured protein powder creating a new spin on the well-known and loved Frappuccino. Although health benefits are yet to be confirmed, protein powder brands and fitness gurus are already jumping on the bandwagon, sharing their own take on the recipe - causing a surge in conversation and engagements around the topic across digital platforms. 🔥

The rise of garden bars
No pub? No problem 😏
From today (March 29th) restrictions ease again and we’re finally allowed to meet up with a limited number of friends and family (hurrah)! Outdoor venues however remain closed, but the British public have responded in true-brit style by creating bars (that would give top notch venues a run for their money) in the comfort of their own back gardens.
Sam Greig, designer at swoon furniture, has outlined the important elements for the perfect at-home-garden-bar (as seen above) and says the key factor is “bringing the inside out”. With restrictions in place until at least June 21st and securing a table booking already proving to be some-what of a part time job, perhaps the trend of ‘staying in-out’ will be the new ‘going out-out’. 🤔
