💥💥💥TWENTY YEARS AGO TODAY: The Rock Says Goodbye As Only He Can💥💥💥
What was Rock's greatest gimmick? We all know it wasn't the tassels he was wearing during that first run. some would argue it was the Hollywood run. There are certainly people at the office who would agree. Where did it start?
It kicked off twenty years ago today the moment Summerslam went off the air. We don't have the full promo but this is a pretty good taste of it.

🎊🎁Happy Birthday to Scott Steiner 🎂🎊
We don't usually do these posts but Scott Steiner turns 60 today and by wishing him a happy birthday we feel there's a 141 2/3 chance of him not hurting us.
Also it gives us the opportunity to show, what maybe, the first attempt at a 450 splash. Just another reminder of how great Steiner can be.
💥💥💥TWENTY YEARS AGO TODAY: The Heartbreaker Returns💥💥💥
The episode of RAW that aired on this day in 2002 had one moment that will stick in the minds of many who were watching at this time. We saw the long awaited return of someone who some thought would never been seen again as HBK danced his was down the ramp.
There had been rumours that Shawn was looking to make a return around Wrestlemania X7, however this was slightly stifled by a line of stubstance abuse, according to some of those around at the time his drug problems had gotten to the point where he was completly blitzed out of his mind on one of the Raws leading to that mania which is what lead to him being let go.
There is also a theory that he was so miserable he had trying to be fired since 1997 but Vince had ixnayed that so he wouldn't turn up on Nitro. There is nothing to back up this rumour but the timing does line up.
But the Shawn we saw here was a different Shawn Michaels to the one we'd seen in previous years. He'd cleaned himself up and found God. Had he changed as a person? That all depends on who you asked. Although he started as a non-wrestler he started having occasional matches till he went full time over the next 18 months and arguably produced a better quality of work than his run on top in the 90s.
The rest of this edition of Raw saw the NWO pick up a couple of KOTR qualifiers with Booker and X Pac getting victories. Jeff Hardy ran in on an Undertaker match (against Dreamer but that doesn't matter in the slightest) that would see him work a short programme with the big man, much to Rory's delight. Austin and Flair worked a match that saw Flair become Austin's PA, however as will be discussed next week this didn't get the chance to go anywhere, although the angle to set this up will probably be brought up by the team on the show at the end of the month. In short it was bad, again more on this next week.
The rest of Raw was nothing memorable, but for those of us who remember this moment it didn't matter what else was on the show. This was so
