trooF represents TRUTH and Black trooF Records is set to discover the talented gold-in-the-dirt, get ‘em polished, and soothe music lovers with great tunes. Hence Al Refe [rapper] and J’Hon [RnB crooner] have been presently signed on the label and are currently being showcased as pioneer talents on the debut album subtitled ‘Black trooFers’. Black trooF Records also signed on multiple talents and hired professional to give music lovers that maximum listening pleasure therefore by parading an array of incredible music producers, video directors, choreographers, songwriters, animators and performers amongst others, trooF Productions sure setting a standard for others to trail.
‘trooF caters for all music genre though we have a bias for RnB, rap music and hip-hop with a fusion of pop but key element for us is playing music for the SOULS and not just ear-ticklers’ says, Eniola Adeleke the company’s publicist. ‘So when you think of evergreen songs pulsing through your heart, all you have to do is just picture Al Refe and J’Hon chewing the MIC’ she boasted. Born Paul and John into the music family of Pastor and Mrs Allu in Lagos-Nigeria, the duo and brothers share a music history dating far back into college days where they rocked the same stage with 2face among others. Although on separate crew, J’Hon who is younger was always and still is the church-boy elevating the congregation to higher realms of belonging. However Al Refe was always the hardcore rapper in the hood who combing the streets with deep-hearted lyrics. Although both are still solo artistes, Black trooF Records in her re-invention program made a merger of J’Hon and Al Refe for the purpose of versatility and building on their individual flexibility to create a combo of evergreen harmony such as now thrills their fans both home and abroad.
